I am very disappointed in this company. We have been bringing items in for them to put in to their weekly auctions for a while now. The very first time dealing with them, a big ticket item that sold was missing from our list of sold items. We chalked it up to them being short staffed and busy. Although they completely ignored me when I asked about it. As time went by we started paying more attention to what we brought, documenting items and watching their listings. Each time more and more items seemed to disappear. When questioned, they told me only items that would sell would be listed and the rest thrown away. Now I will admit to bringing them items that weren’t worth a lot occasionally but new in box tools, new luggage, jewelry….. these are not worthless items. The nail in the coffin was when I asked them to look at a list I had put together of items I found on their other auctions that were ours but didn’t get credit for…I sent her a couple pics and told her I had a complete list…. After telling me they weren’t our items (even though we had pics of items in our possession ) she refused to look at the list and said she was done talking about it. I have a feeling they have been scamming folks who bring in stuff for years. They are pretty sneaky about it and I wouldn’t have noticed the extent of it except we brought a ton of very high value collectors Coca Cola items and train sets in and not even half was listed. Kinda ironic I just so happened to see some of those missing items mixed up it other items that were not ours weeks later. I have been nothing but professional, polite, and understanding in every single conversation I’ve ever had with these people. Even after an incident that was completely infuriating….. we live over an hour from them and had set up a time to bring a bunch of items in… their staff even unloaded everything with us. We get a call a few hours later telling us to come get some of the boxes that apparently the owner didn’t want. I told them we were working and had worked that stop into our schedule and would not have time that day. There was also a MASSIVE storm brewing and had already started with the snow and wind and it was getting dark. I said that wasn’t fair for them to demand us to come that day, especially when THEIR STAFF unloaded us! I was told that if we didn’t come that day they would never sell our items again. Including all the stuff they had kept out of the load. They don’t care about our safety, our time wasted or our schedule. I truly didn’t want it to come to this but they did this themselves. They are dishonest and shady and know exactly what they are doing. I’m just trying to warn people who do business with them to keep a watchful eye out and protect themselves from getting taken advantage of like we did. Oh… one more thing. They raised the percentage rate without telling us this most recent time…. Raised it over 30% MORE than they were already taking on some bigger ticket items. I also wanted to add an edit to this. Very recently I ran into someone that knew the owner, Gary, on a personal level and apparently Gary is proud to screw people over. He openly talks about how he takes his consignment customers’ items. Bought a benchmade knife from them and it turned out to be a fake. I told this to one of the employees and he said bring it back and I could get a refund. He said they do it all the time. I thought that was great but when I called the owner he said he didn't have to do that but he would do it this once. Now a lot of there listings say unauthenticated. When I was looking at another one of there auctions I saw they had another fake benchmade so I texted him and let him know, no response and some poor person bought the knife. To top it off the fake benchmade I returned to them is now relisted and has bids on it. I talked to another auction and refunding fake items is a fairly common practice with good auction houses. Won (2) action figures in their Hi-Bid auction. They charged my just under $30 to ship a 1lb 6x6x4” box. They refused to show me the Fed Ex invoice but were generous with smart attitude: “We are not Amazon…”. They also charged the incorrect tax rate (inflated of course) and it didn’t even match the cost they charged. NTM that a seller is supposed to list any handling fees in the auction details on HiBid; which they do not. Hibidders beware this one is greasy.

I posted the box that cost just under $30 for reference. Please heed my warning I wish I had checked reviews first. Also I know how much it costs to ship as I have over 1100 items...
