Please avoid this store at all cost. Go to the one in Layton, much more honest and friendly. Our experience at this store and with Aaron was absolutely awful and dishonest. When we upgraded to the new plan, he NEVER mentioned there was a $50 fee per line. He stated we had a $35 activation fee per line but that was it. And then our remainder and taxes for the new phones as well all upgraded phones and changed our plan. We told him repeatedly that I needed the 256 space for my phone and he kept saying the smaller one should do. I told him what we needed and he said OK. We ended up, leaving after hours of being there, a few weeks later at my daughters competition softball tournament. I keep getting messages saying I can’t even record or take pictures because my phone is too full. I go to settings and check and he gave me the wrong storage phone even with us repeatedly telling him I needed the 256. I ended up going back to switch out my phone, that was a ridiculous process and took hours that wasn’t needed. He then tried to charge me an unboxed fee for his mistake that he was unwilling to take accountability for. He then told me he was going to hold onto my daughters phone that was supposed to be a trade-in until I brought back the box, I left very upset and called my husband, who went and talked to Austin at the Verizon Layton, who informed him how improper everything was they were doing, and unprofessional. Then come to find out after going to the Layton in Verizon, our trade-ins were done incorrectly and a bunch of fees were added that were never discussed. It took our bill to over $300 more than what it should be. Please avoid this store at all costs, they are incompetent and dishonest. As I was waiting to finish up at this god-awful store before leaving, another man came in, and I listened to him, talk to another employee that he was waiting for Aaron, the one that I was working with, as he was the one who signed him up for Internet and told him he wouldn’t have any of these fees that were on his bill, and he couldn’t get them to drop off. Save yourself the seven hours I spent there and the headache as well as a bill over double the amount it should be. Go to the Verizon store in Layton, Austin...

You can search the store above and see what's lead up to this from kayla pratt. I was hoping for a good last trip 18 miles away from where I have anything to do with. I've spent 20 hours now bouncing off the phones between hum technical support and Verizon's. After the first 6 hours were wasted, I get a replacement HUMX since the first one wasnt fixed by the instore sim. that I take 30 minutes go by I'm trying to set it with problems im waiting for phone help. by the time i get help on the phone to set this up the stores closed and I'm still waiting for a functioning device when I get ahold of a tier2 tech named Philip who did everything to help me! Like God behind the phone! I'm sorry the sales guys dont have good communication with the hum support but you cant send people off on wild goose chases. I spent my savings on building a mobile unit in my vehicle to stream from since I'm in between houses this is the only space I have without this device or one I'll have to go find elsewhere to provide me internet because I lost my first deadline over you guys not having what I needed even when I was willing to use my gas and my time which is valued by some, even some willing to donate to keep me going! I'm not doing this for store managers to get yelled at seriously just get the right info out there.
Match your devices numbers to the box before sending them out. Make sure they connect the phone to the device before leaving. I'm just a guy trying to help not step on toe or piss people off I've relied on Verizon and no matter how hard the battle you guys have made it right, but this...
Read moreI had a Verizon employee around my neighborhood offering their new fiber internet. I wasn’t a fan of our current internet, so she was able to talk me into trying it. It came and I tried it. It was 12x slower than my current internet. I was annoyed by this, but it was really my fault for letting myself get talked into this.
I was told that the modem could be returned to any Verizon store, so I went to this one. I was greeting by a young man dress in a suit and tie. He was very friendly at first. I told him that I was looking to return the modem, he asked me why and he said that they were “hit or miss”. He then told me that I would need to contact customer service. I told him that I was told I would be able to return this at any Verizon store, he replied with “They tend to lie about that”, full stop. At that point he made it very clear that he was done with me and that I was expected to leave.
I ended up talking to two other employees over the phone, these employees actually cared, apologized, and claimed they would make note of this behavior, instead of just shooing me out the door after learning I wasn’t there to buy something. If you are looking to buy something from Verizon, I’d suggest going to another store, where they will at least pretend to care about you instead of trying to shoo you away after they learn you are not a new customer trying to...
