First of all We had an issue with the burleson store today this morning 1/4/2023 which the guy at that store was rude & telling us he can't take the ps 5 controller back supposedly sale was final we have the receipt which we brought it because the controller had button that kept sticking & not working properly it's a cool gold & black special controller with extra buttons under back but he told us to go look around while he works on it which I watched him pour alcohol over the buttons so I called our home game exchange cleburne which by the way 5 stars +++ the best employees thank yall for all yall do we brought it & explained situation to the area manager here & she fixed the issue very sweet understanding they all were & they even saw the controller was still a little wet from the alcohol we really appreciate them their knowledge their hospitality and can't thank them enough but someone needs to address this to the burleson store as the guy litterally don't know the policies were customers and we know about exchanges and how it works that we can only exchange the items if it's not working properly except dvds blurays & so many days for returns in store credit etc and he seemed to not have a care & not very hospitable & looked unhappy like bored no smile or welcoming that's for sure but cleburne always welcome you when you walk in & friendly busy keeping store up very hospitable & they always say thanks for coming come see us again as we really appreciate that customer satisfaction here area manager especially a beautiful sweet person & she went above & beyond as she's working and took time to help fix the problem that burleson guy should of done thank you girl amazing job & for understanding & being patient & caring to your customers please give these cleburne employees a huge applause👏🤜🤛 & thank you and much credit for all they do making it easy comfortable welcoming experience & customer...

I've been in many many time to sell and to buy and have only ever seen one single employee that was there the last time the turnout rate is so high that employees know almost nothing about what they are selling. I always and I mean always have to tell someone how to do their job or often times do it for them only to be told I know nothing just to find out an hour later I was right and they didn't know anything about the system or game they were handling. The thing that made me the most disappointed in the service there was when I brought in a perfect working Nintendo 64 and was told they would not take it because it wouldn't work I told them I had just bought it there 6 months prior and it only ever stayed in a box after being played and I knew it worked they picked a random cartridge off the shelf and then proceeded to take an hour of my time to try it on 2 different TV's with 2 different av cables I went home and immediately plugged it in with my copy of ocarina of Time and it worked perfectly. The problem was a faulty game that they had in store that they never tested once and never cleaned or swapped out the whole time they were testing my system telling me I was a liar to my face. This is not the only time I've left infuriated with the service just the most infuriating situation I can remember I will no longer be shopping at this store or doing business with this store. Read moreI have used Game XChange for a few years now since they have come to Cleburne. I really like supporting smaller locally owned businesses so I go there instead of Game Stop. Today my son went in to purchase a controller for his XBox One, which we also bought there along with his $100 headphones, additional $70 wireless controller, and numerous games for the game box. Also I purchased our old pS3 and too many games and controllers to count at Game XChange. Besides their zero return policy, even on unopened, unused products, they will only give store credit. My son went in today to purchase a new controller as his baby sister smashed his controller into the wall. They gave my son a very hard time and absolutely horrible customer service. He left the store crying, he is ten years old. My 85 year old grandpa drove him and just let him run in to get what he needed as he has really bad knees and has a bit of trouble walking. The two women who were there today with tattoos, piercings, a hat on with gauged out ears (I love tattoos and piercings, just describing not discriminating) really should take a customer service and manners class before they are allowed back on the schedule for duty.
