I live in New Jersey, but I visit my mother and daughter in North Carolina a couple times a year. We usually stop at Mia's to find that special gift. I was delighted to find them still in business this Christmas, glad to know they survived the pandemic. I was looking for cat-themed Christmas ornaments, and I struck out at the largely deserted Hanes Mall. Mia's had several options, and I relieved them of four lovely ornaments to hang on my daughter's Christmas tree. I had been coming to the shopping center and seen the store but never stop in there, so last week I stop and went in to ask a question about the graduation sign they had out front.I had one made for my grandson who is graduating this year but can’t walk with his class. This is a great gift shop. Mia's store carries a wide range of merchandise, from locally made Moravian ornaments, painted wooden seasonal and collegiate stakes, and beautiful prints from a local artist, to Jim Shore creations, Donna Sharpe handbags, Silver Forest earrings, Willow Tree figurines, and much more.
