Can only say this office and physician are all about the money. Wow, felt like they did not care . Also wanted $125 upfront when I first started going there and then started charging âmembership feesâ to be able to still be seen there. If you didnât pay them you were told you could no longer be one of their patients . I am a member of the medical community in this left a very bad taste in my mouth . However word is spreading fast about this and a lot of people I know who consider going there are no longer making appointments. Also a lot of people who have been there for several years have also left the practice . Check with your own primary care physician. They are willing to do research alongside of you to find functional medicine alternatives that will not cost you a fee monthly or otherwise to obtain. This way you will have a caring physician, that is covered by your insurance, and that will work alongside you to find out alternative ways to treat your condition. Feel like this particular practice takes advantage of people who are on their last string of hope and squeezes money out of them giving them false hope . If this is the new face of healthcare I am very concerned. However by asking around to others I have found that nobody is a game for this and will continue to go to their primary care physician and also do research on their own if prescriptions need to be written for certain medications or supplements most primary care physicians if you present them with the research will...
Read moreIf you are a veteran, steer clear. I loved this doctor but their greed and failure to adhere with Tricare network guidelines is forcing me to move. When I first became a patient, there was no administrative fee. The next year, there was a magical 125.00 dollar fee just to be a patient here. I reluctantly paid it after feeling very embarrassed from being pressured. I didn't have the money to spend theb and when the fee came around again this year and again, I protested. How can this practice claim to be Tricare friendly and then charge you money that Tricare won't cove? I got an attitude from the office manager when I explained that my plan includes no out of pocket fees. Today, after receiving yet another bill, I called Tricare and they stated that this charge does not fall within the network guidelines and now I am doing everything I can to ensure this practice is no longer a Tricare authorized provider.
Again, I loved my doctor and now I have to change it. Even if I have the money, it's principle. Our nation's veterans do not deserve this and many can barely afford prescriptions. Thankfully Tricare has guidelines and after they called the office manager, they came back and told me they refuse to budge. They'll be lucky if I don't go to the newspaper to warn local veterans and their families that practices like this one and any others that charge fluff fees and non-tricare approved fees are not acting within the agreement they...
Read moreUpdate 2022: I am noticing that my review is getting some "traffic", so I hope that this update will help someone. I was the sickest that I have ever been after my time at this establishment. The providers may be doing different protocols now, but I did not tolerate the excessive Vitamin D being prescribed. Vitamin D was the beginning of my downward spiral. In my case, it caused hypercalcemia and eventually led to Vitamin A toxicity, low potassium and high blood pressure.
Thankfully, I have found a plan elsewhere that is leading me to complete healing. I still have a way to go, but I am seeing steady progress.
Bottom line....IF YOU AREN'T GETTING BETTER HERE, IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON.
It's been 6 years and now I can trace ALL of my poor health issues (including hypothyroid) to Vitamin D.
Be well
Buyer Beware! They charge a $125.00 "administrative fee" that comes out of your pocket. I started treatment in June 2015 and was told that the fee wouldn't be charged again until June 2016....SURPRISE!!!! I was just charged again in January 2016. Get their...
