Regarding the food, it might not be cheaper than Aldi like some other reviews say, but it's definitely cheaper than whole foods or Fairfax or Heinens that are the 3 other options in the area. I usually find what I need to complete my shaker square market grocery shopping. When the prices are very low, it is usually because the expiration date is really close. So if food is kept for a few days in the fridge after purchase, it may be why some people are disappointed with the freshness. I went there 5-6 times already and I'm happy with my new neighborhood...
