No stars, I’m a big foodie and not discriminated against other cultures in their dishes! Well my experience wasn’t anything but stares and looks, I’m a black woman who wanted to try some of the vendors
0 customer service I went to three Concessions all vendors wasn’t personable towards me. I watched how the vendors treated other customers, because those customers shared the same ethnicity they was treated better! greeted, told what they were selling and even was smiling! Not one vendor made me feel welcome! Will never return back and most likely will never recommend anything from this discriminative establishment if you don’t want blacks there just say it! I know a lots of food spot around west 25 and Detroit that are owned by Hispanics! I don’t judge but if we gonna just ignore the Dynamics of the city in which you’re establishments in then I will make it my duty to make sure that no one ever grace that establishment again especially people of color black to be exact! The killer part it was a black business owner who recommended this establishment! Again a black business owner recommended Villa to me! That goes to show you never judge a book by its cover! I will stick with my own ppl for now on! But I better not see any Venezuela,Hispanics,Latinos enter any black establishment looking for a warm greeting because you won’t receive one! Remember where yall at because half of yall was placed here for a better opportunity don’t get on ya high horse and get discriminated every time you see a black person walking into your establish or this establishment will be advertise not to ever visit, especially by my Black people have a good day and learn how to greet customers when they walk Into your establishment saying that they work hard for their money as well I don’t get tax breaks like y’all when y’all come here so get off...
Read moreUp and coming Latin American food hall and community center. CentroVilla25 is still growing, but first impressions are promising. For a full look at their events and design goals, visit cv25.org. The location is in a somewhat forgotten part of W 25th in keeping with their vision of revitalizing the Clark-Fulton neighborhood. There's a free parking lot on Blatt Ct and hopefully more to come as construction progresses.
Walking around the building we caught a glimpse of a large community room, as well as an outdoor area which on mock-ups seems to be a future patio and outdoor event space. Plans also include a grocery and bar/lounge area on the first floor, and business center on the second. Most of the square footage is empty for now.
In its current state, you'll find a handful of vendors in the kiosks in the main hall, mainly food stalls at the present, as well as a few others selling accessories, clothing, and cookware. The main hall contains a bunch of tables, mainly seated for 4, as well as restrooms and a drinking fountain. For those looking to party, you can rent out various spaces and even the commercial kitchen.
We savored some delicious espresso from Cafe Roig, churros from Antojitos Salvadorenos, and birria tacos from The Flying Taco. You can also grab Cuban and Venezuelan fare and eat your way through Latin America. Food took a while to make, but all the stalls are clearly small family/friend run businesses that cook from scratch. Everything is clean and well-maintained, and you can tell that everyone is super proud to be a part of this growing community. Eagerly awaiting the next stages of...

Gorgeous and Inspiring food market It was an old carpet manufacturing plant so it's gigantic and multi storied. The leasing staff and businesses are very welcoming. I love the Indian food there and the many Latino food kiosks. Dominican and Cuban kiosks are superb. Like most Latino cuisine, everything's meat centered. I'm thinking of going to one event at night. It's not like other places where hordes of "unruly youths" ruin the community. Some out of place rude women ruined the vibe the other day by blasting gangsta rap from their phones. I hope we don't get the Carnival Cruise crowd. Plenty of security and cameras. You can't eat with a face mask on, so enjoy time with friends! It's a wholesome family neighborhood environment. Prices on all prepared food went up during Biden, but as long as the food is well prepared with amiable service, it's worth the experience. Their newly opened outdoor plaza has space for dining and concerts. Great time!
Note: Latinos have different cultural and world views. Not everyone lives in a political plantation. When you take the chance to push political propaganda, you risk alienating a great number of your clientele. It's ok to have different views of the world and politics. Stick to welcoming people and serving food. Not everyone thinks that someone is out to get us. Stop preaching fear of people who have different...
