In search of a parish to find comfort and a faith community of love and kindness, my family recently have been attended Sunday evening masses. My children found a little piece of joy in noticing a community garden in which participants purchase a piece of land to plant in. Upon entering this garden we were met by parishioners who tend to their plot. We spoke to this man and a woman with her grandson and discussed the garden. The man pointed out the weeds that had grown so large and he mentioned that, some who have a plot, plant there but not always return to upkeep. Kindness fell upon us, a feeling of openness comforted us. But yet, to our dismay, we were fooled by these people, in whom we would have felt connected through faith. A ripened cherry tomato attracted the attention of our little grandson, his mother bent down to gather a few. At once, the man and woman became irate. Their mannerisms changed. They shamed us for picking a few tomatoes. They showed unfaithfulness, they showed cruelty, the showed us that this is not the faith we are to be united in. ‘ Whatsoever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me ‘ Says the Lord Our God. ‘ When I was hungry, you gave me to eat ‘ Says the Lord Our God. Pray, people of faith, pray for the souls of those in need. Pray for those who who hunger and thirst. Pray for those who do not heed Gods words. And, lastly, pray for my family. For here at Holy Name, we were outcasted, and feeling forced now to find a new parish; that we find a faith community and church that welcomes us in and kindness and love flow from the hearts of others, in that, so as we are loved by God, we love others in this...

I highly recommend you to experience this oasis of spiritual peace &...
