Fast, delicious, reasonably priced & they give great portions! I decided I should give this place a shot after my barber talked highly of it. I work right down the street and would drive by all the time wondering if it’s any good. My barber told me that it’s quick and delicious. I stopped in today and ordered some food for our company. We tried a little bit of everything to see what we liked best. We loved everything! I definitely will be back. We were there no less than 5 minutes and ordered 4 dishes and 3 sides. The jerk chicken was really good but I was especially surprised with the pepper steak. The curry chicken wasn’t super strong with curry but it still hit the spot. I would say there isn’t one thing I won’t order again. The meat pies were a pleasant surprise but the Mac and cheese was very impressive. Some people may say the Mac and cheese was greasy but it was real cheese in there, not the fake stuff. I really hope this place is here for good! I will definitely be back! I was skeptical bc of the location and the area. But after finally giving it a shot I’m passed that. Lots of restaurants in the area don’t survive. This one however is a gem. I would recommend that the owner stops in at some businesses on grant ave and cuyahoga hts and drop off menus so they know they’re there. The fact that the place has quick service makes it easier for me to come on a lunch break

After reading the reviews and having some serious jerk chicken cravings, I decided to give this restaurant a try. I ordered a mild jerk chicken plate, which came with rice and peas and cabbage. I also added a side of mac n cheese and some plantains. The jerk chicken was falling off the bone and pretty good. While everything on the plate was decent, the food was quite spicy and salty. I wish there had been a sweeter jerk sauce to balance the flavors. The mac and cheese was good, but the STAR of the show was the plantains—10/10! As for the service, I read reviews saying it was “quick,” but that wasn’t my experience. When I arrived, there were about three people ahead of me and three to four people who came in after me. While the three people ahead of me got their food in due time, two of the people who came in after me got their food before I did. To my understanding, there wasn’t any wait for what I ordered, especially since the rice, cabbage, mac and cheese, and plantains were already cooked. Additionally, there isn’t much seating, and the space is quite small. I’d recommend calling in your order. Overall, it was a fairly good meal—just maybe not the best in town.

A sure bet every time! Bless Up is not that place where you have to go in and hope that the chef/cook is having a good day or that your favorite chef is working and not that "other guy." Every time I go there for a family pick up, our favorite chef is always doing his thing. In a house full of foodies, being able to count on the quality and quantity of our food is important. Bless Up never let's us down. Personally, I have always said that I am not really a fan of Jamaican food, but each time I go in to pick up for my family, I have the opportunity to taste something different. I have always been sold on the beef pies. Today, I tried the ox tails and was impressed by the richness of the flavor and that slightly spicy taste. Also, you can tell a lot about a restaurant just by hearing customers talk. I heard nothing but good things about Bless Up! Even if there was a wait, it was well worth it. Bless Up won my family over long ago. Slowly, dish after dish, it's making a believer out of me.

We came across this place as we left the Rock and Roll HOF in Cleveland heading back to our hotel during our Great Lakes Road trip. We’re from Philly. We had kids in tow and not sure if they would like it. We stuck to the basics and ordered two large platters. One was the jerk chicken, rice, cabbage, and mac & cheese, the chicken was very tender, full of flavor with just the right amount of spice. The second was goat, rice, cabbage and mac & cheese. The goat was delicious, mean was coming of the bone and so tender. My only warning if whatever sauce they pour over the rice, get it on the side for those that don't like the heat. Our mouths were on fire but still enjoyed every bit of the food. The 2 large platters was enough to feed 5 of us and enough for 2nds and left overs. Total was almost $40. The cheapest meal during our vacation. Everyone loved it. Of course the goat looked like beef, so we didn’t tell the kids that it was goat. So glad we found it and enjoyed it so much. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. So thank...
