Kroger — Local services in Cleveland

Went to this store a few days ago(i don’t live in this city so it’s not often i go there but since i had to go back today 3/26/24 i stopped back by). I purchased an alcoholic beverage case of “moms drinks” when i got home and open them one was leaking so two days later i brought them back(today) the clerk told me they couldn’t refund me and i was fine with that but they told me i needed a manager to exchange them. The manager Paul came out who was on his phone and not really paying attention to me or my concern, looked at the box and said it’s not wet(which was two days ago so of course it dried up) he said oh we’re not taking that back as in though i had a reason to lie. If you’re here in Cleveland trying to exchange something that was damaged from THEIR location please do bother. This was unprofessional and unrealistic as why can’t i exchange something that was damaged at your location?!...

ENROUTE ON ROUTE QUICK SHOPPING STOP: when on the go, you go where you know the prices, options, people, and savings are consistent. This was an in and out experience as I was traveling and needed both fuel and to grab a few things. Noticing the sales, I grabbed some additional items to add to what I'd been asked to pickup. The building is nicely laid out and the flow of moment through the store was seamless. The restroom is prominently located and is unisex with a large wheel chair accessible door. The staff is friendly and self check out makes for a convenient and quick exit. The manager on duty does not stand by their products. I bought frozen Wild Caught Cod that was $16.99 per package. The package was supposed to have 8 servings and a serving was 1 fillet. However the package only had 6 fillets instead of 8. When I called the manager he said it’s a warehouse problem and that I need to call the warehouse because there was nothing he could do. I asked if I could speak with someone else and he said no. I asked, “ You dont have a boss? He said, yes. The District Manager. I asked for the number and he would not provide it.
