Mexico Grill — Restaurant in Cleveland

I will never eat at the “Mexican Grill” in Cleveland, MS again! Not only did I feel racial tension from customers and workers but after I ate my meal I was on the way to the bathroom and the floor was wet and I tried my best inching my steps over the floor but it was so wet that I slipped and fell. I had to use it so bad that I tried walking over it like any other day. Their was no wet floor sign in sight. As I turned around while sitting on the floor no one tried helping me nor asking me was I okay including the workers. One of the Mexican workers even started laughing at me. I have never experienced so much racial tension in one restaurant in my life, but I realized how mature I was today cause it took everything in me not to snap out. I talked to the manager and he started to scream, “It’s a sign right there right there!” that they put there AFTER I got out of the bathroom! I said that to say, at the moment I’m doing fine but people in this world can be so hateful and mean and I guarantee you I will never step foot in that restaurant...

Stoped in on a Monday night due to having to be in the area. Guess it was a bad night for them. We wait almost 30 minuets before our order was taken. Cups sat empty and our waiter forgot a few things we asked for. It wasn’t extremely busy. Waiter was nice but not efficient in service. We asked for a small cheese dip but got a large but not complaining because it was HUGE. I got the street tacos and they were bland, husband got fajitas and no flavor at all and the steak was so chewy and the shrimp was sooo salty he couldn’t eat it. This is the best place to get Mexican food in Mississippi. They have a lot of options, all authentic dishes. I haven't been to very many Mexican restaurants in the US that have molcajete, but they do and the nepales are unreal! The tacos de alambre were also super good. Their cheese dip and salsa are top notch, and they have the best chorizo I've had at a casual Mexican restaurant in America.
