We booked a birthday party at Leisure Time Bowling for May 23rd, 2021. We booked the party several weeks in advance, asked all the questions we needed to ask, asked about food, accommodations, etc... We were told that no outside food was allowed other than cake and ice-cream and that they would order Pizzas for us. I specifically asked what the deadline was for ordering Pizza.. I was told that I could tell them how many pizzas to order up until right before the party, the worker even went as far to tell me that we could tell them when we first arrived due to how they set up the parties, the kids bowl for an hour and then the party room is available for food and presents for an hour. The day of the party I called the facility to put in our pizza order, the man on the phone proceeded to tell me that the latest we can order pizzas is the Thursday before. I explained the situation, I explained what I was told in detail, I explained that we had easily over 25 people coming to the birthday party and we needed to feed them. I asked if I could bring my own food or cater from someplace else and he told me no that it would not be fair to the other parties that they only use one place to order Pizzas from. I explained that It was not fair that I was told the wrong information and he simply said there is nothing I can do about that. He then proceeded to tell me that the place they order pizzas from is actually closed today, at this point I am confused. If they are closed, then how would he have ordered my food at any point for our party? Ordered them the day before and reheated them? I pointed this out to him and he magically said they actually have two extra Pizzas that our party can have and that we can purchase party platers for 29$ a piece. The party platers consisted of 10 chicken tenders, a fry and some fried pickles. I ended up ordering the two pizzas, and two party platters. Our party had to order countless things from the food stand as well. (This is the good part) Around 2PM they started delivering the food to our party room and I notice that the pizzas were MADE AT THE facility, They are on hot pans, clearly thrown together, very thin, roughly between a small and a medium pizza, and are quite frankly, disgusting looking. I was charged full prize for the pizzas as if they were ordered from a pizza place, I was given 5$ off on our party, and 3$ off each party plater for "my mix up". I guess you can say we were a little disappointed in the hospitality and lack of transparency this place offered us. Up until this event we visited the facility a few times a month to bowl. Its safe to say that we will not be back. I would prefer to drive to Chattanooga and bowl at a nicer place.
I would consider booking your future...
Read moreWe made the quick drive up from Chattanooga a little after noon on a Saturday to give this place a try. It was a little busy; no problem, itâs understandable people are out and about on a nice day over the weekend so we expected a little bit of a wait. But what we didnât expect was a very unpleasant and hateful staff. They acted very rudely and putout when asked simple questions. We had never been to this bowling alley before so we werenât sure how the their system worked. Every question was answered hatefully and defensively. We put our name on the list and started waiting. We enjoyed some games in the arcade and had a few soft drinks from the restaurant⌠no problem at all. After waiting about 45 minutes for a lane, we had not heard any names called and several lanes were open (at least 8 lanes hadnât been used for 10 minutes or so). We waited another 10 minutes then asked the worker behind the counter if they page your name over the intercom. Before we could even get to the counter one guy rudely stated they were doing the best they could as if we had asked multiple times or like we were being impatient⌠nothing could be further from the truth. This type of interaction continued (unprovoked) during our entire visit. We asked for two lanes since we had a larger group of 8 and hoped to cross bowl. The girl reluctantly stated sheâd âtryâ to get us two lanes but couldnât âpromise anythingâ even with our party size. We finally got our lanes but our request to cross bowl was 100% ignored and by this time we didnât even care to ask again since the poor attitude weâd gotten so far⌠The lanes themselves werenât the worst weâve ever used but we did have to reset the pin setter several times. We like to bowl often and usually visit local alleys when on vacation. We have family in the Chattanooga/Ooltewah/Cleveland area and are there quite a bit. Overall, for the price the place was clean and acceptable but the poor attitude from the employees makes it very unlikely we will return to or recommend Leisure Time Bowling. If we hadnât been visiting with family for a birthday, we wouldâve left after the first poor interaction with...

Make sure you get up here about an hour before close. The closer you get to closing time the less likely you will get a lane if they have a waiting list. From experience, the waiting list is a normal thing and it usually isn't too long a wait either. I have always gotten a lane also but we usually just have 2-4 people. If you do have a wait you can always play some arcade games or go grab a snack or drink while you wait.
They also have a new app for everyone to check out too called LANETALK. You can record your physical games played at leisure time to the lanetalk app and play against people everywhere that also have the lanetalk app. It's pretty cool. You can play seriously or training mode is also an option available. See where you rank regionally or globally, if you dare.
So if you have friends and family out of state but they have access too, then technically you can still compete against each other without...
