Meadow City Native Plant Nursery — Local services in Cleveland

We met the owner of Meadow City Native Plant Nursery in Columbus at Natives in Harmony. She was quite the expert in native plant biodiversity and we were excited to learn that she was going to be opening her own native plant nursery in Cleveland near Collinwood.

Today we finally had the chance to visit it and we bought 12 plants. The location is delightful. Easy to find easy to access, close to the highway and just an all around joy to experience.

The selection of inventory was quite good, especially given this is a new business. We were told that inventory would bump up significantly in three to four weeks, so we plan to visit again in late September or early october. The high quality of the plants are exactly what you would expect from such an expert and someone who is so thoughtful regarding native planting and local biodiversity.

Excellent local plant nursery specializing in native plants. The owners and staff are super knowledgeable about their plants and can tell you about all the beneficial bugs they support.

The nursery is completely outdoors and open seasonally. Plants are very healthy and they are organized by sun/shade and wet/dry conditions and are sold in a biodegradable pot.
