If I could leave this place no stars I would, but the min is 1.I was a resident at this facility when I came from prison. One it's in a crappy area, two it's dirty, 3 the food is worse than ccj food. The bathrooms are dirty and have black mold.My pet wouldn't eat the food. They do a poor job at social work. I never saw a caseworker until I was almost outta of there. The caseworker did not do her job what so ever. Would completely lie put you off from meeting with you. If you were in need she'd forget about it or lie about if it was done or not.I think she was she on the way out out the door I guess being fired or quiting. I would of been in this place longer if it wasn't for my medical condition, but if the caseworker would have put my paperwork in too that would have worked as well. The staff do their jobs half ass. They have the worst attitudes, they barley want to lift a finger or do anything for you you They are the "oh remind me this remind me that" but still never do it for you. 'Im speaking from the females side just to let you know . They are just filled with attitude and forgeet you.I could rest until the the almost wo weeks I was finally letting go on house arrest.Girls up all night on their phones on speaker, laughing and talking like they were never house trained staff did nothing about this.I kept asking to be moved but always ignored, even my grievances were never responded to.A girl in the dorm that I was in with left early Sat morning while I was still asleep.i looked up and this new girl already took the bed so we got into a yelling match and I got the bed .One of the male staff told her to go to the bed she was assigned to.of course somehow she turned this moment raicist,how?...don't ask me.While I was there, staff had favorites and let some people get away with things while others didn't.This place is a disgusting nightmare. It stinks.i have two pix one of the black mold in the grossest shower ever and a tray of the food. This is just a revolving door state run facility. The reason why it was out there has been forgotten.Dont go here if you can help it,Lol.Im done with everything and I'm...
Read moreI have a friend there at this exact moment and the place is pure trash. There is only a couple people in the entire building that will even consider helping an inmate reacclimate back into society. The food is atrocious and should not be fed to anyone let alone someone that's adjusting back into society. The staff are unprofessional and so ghetto, their so-called employment specialist allow you to find a job go through all the process just to put up blockers to prevent you from getting a good job. Their objective is to hold you down and send you back even when you don't do drugs or drink and follow all the rules. This place should be condemned. Please anyone find out and see for yourself how many ambulance and police are called on this oriana House on a daily basis. There's no way this is considered a safe environment, rehab, or an adjustment for anyone coming from prison. The place should be investigated by someone outside the federal bureau of prison just to see for themselves first hand that this place is a mess. I have several photos to attach to show you the food they serve.( To protect my friend I'll not post pictures because I cannot allow the unprofessional staff to retaliate against him for taking pictures of his conditions however he is documenting his whole experience.) On what planet did someone eat bologna and grits for breakfast? At the oriana House you can expect plenty of Bologna, beans and rice.Oh and let me not forget about the vending machines that you're forced to live out of are outrageously priced and subject to lose your money on every Gamble you take to purchase an item. They tell my friend as well as everyone else that you use the machine at...
Read moreThis place is supposed to be designed to reintegrate men and women into society from correctional institutions yet all I have seen to date is the polar opposite. They worry about what they can prevent the clients from doing as a company motto where as helping them handle the change would be more appropriate. As soon as the residents adjust to their 3" book of rules they create more. They justify their titles with rule enforcement as opposed to any form of guidance. It's truly sad to see in person how broken this system is. This facility is the tip of the spear in human degradation. These residents are not only people but they are entering our communities soon. I would think making it hard to gain and retain employment, prevent 12 step meetings for addicts ,or refuse to feed them on a technical issue if they forget to sign the appropriate paperwork would be detrimental to rebuilding the path back to society. I hope the very people they torment end up being their neighbors or show up to family events holding the hand of one of their loved ones . Maybe then they will see the importance of there authority and not...
