Rent-A-Wreck — Local services in Cleveland

So where should I start. First and foremost this is the worst car rental place/car sales place ever! First they sell an elderly woman a Buick that had multiple issues and was rusted out so she gave them there car back. They turn around and sell that same Buick to a guy who keeps having to bring it back because he is also having issues with it. They then turn around and sell a gold Buick to a woman who is having issues with her car and it is back getting repaired. He also sold a 1996 gmc sierra to a young gentlemen who only had it 2 weeks and the engine blew up on him. They agreed to repair and put another engine it only for the young man to not have a car from April 25th until June 3rd. Then young man gets the truck back goes to bmv to get a license plate because they kept his truck so long his 45 day tag expired. On the same day this young man calls the shop and tells sandy the engine is leaking oil all over the ground and she says it’s a gear box leak to drive it 100 miles and to see if It seals it’s self up. The leak did not seal up and all the oil leaked out and the truck stopped in the middle of a busy roadway and the young man almost got into a major car accident. Vince the man who rents and sells the vehicles was very rude and had a very bad attitude. They don’t want to refund the money to the young man and they don’t want to put the young man in another car. They made him pay a car payment the entire time. I own a mechanic shop and I have looked over this truck. The engine was either never replaced or they bought a engine with multiple problems. I have pictures of multiple oil leaks and heavily rusted frame. This truck should of never been on the road or for sale. I have pictures and the young man has all phone recording s.I sent the young man to get the repair receipts and Vince acted very unprofessional and would not provide proof. PLEASE DO NOT RENT OR PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM THEM THEY ARE...

They don’t inform you they have a device on car which will remotely disable car. They only tell you it’s a tracking device. They lie to you! If you try to call in too extend rental term, they won’t do it, say you have to return it immediately or they will shut car off and you will be responsible for tow back to office. lost a days pay due to these criminal thieves. Also send car out with gas tank less than full (time stamped photogaraphic proof) and try to rip you off for $35 fee plus cost of gas for fuel they never gave you. Car was scummy filthy dirty, damaged body everywhere. Have been told they try to rip you off for this damage. I will NEVER rent another car from these scam artists again. Money flushed down the toilet?? Thieves? How? Doesn't make sense, folks. Chris took care of my daughter and me better than Enterprise did for my wife this spring and at a third of the cost!!! I don't understand the other posting! Huh? If you don't want to pay for a rent a car company's overhead and don't mind a well-serviced, older car (Thanks, Chris for having it all ready, oil changed, etc..) this is the place. Especially If you don't care about frills but safe transportation while your other car, like my daughter's, is in the body shop. And if U R a dog lover, you will meet all of Chris' buddies. You'll see what I mean when you walk in the door.
