Scoot! Cold Brewed Coffee — Restaurant in Cleveland

A beautiful location that turned the experience sour. So much potential in this location - but employees make or break a business.

From a flustered baker to the barista who chased us down for forgetting to ring up a transaction, Scoot! appears very disorganized. Initial thoughts on the space: while the square footage isn’t ideal, the dining space features a floor plan that is not conducive to productivity. While the difference in seating style gives a unique look, there is no way to seat a group of more than 3 without having to walk through and disrupt other tables.

On to the service.. while we were greeted upon arrival, the rest of the experience was impersonal. While it would be understandable if it were a high-volume producer, there were a total of 5 customers during our time there. The barista scrolled on her phone for most of our time there. The bakery was absolutely delicious, but you have to cut and toast your own bagel which is rather odd. I probably wouldn’t have minded as much if the staff at least pretended to look busy. The lattes, however, were rather watered down AND bitter to taste.

Not to mention - the one sign they have advertising the shop has been caught up on their barbed wire fence for weeks. The lot is beautiful and the space is pretty cool, but execution of this little coffee shop could be...

If I could give this place all the stars I would. I’ve traveled a ton and to say this is some of the best cold brew I’ve ever had doesn’t even do it justice. On top of the coffee, the fact that this small business supports other local small businesses in store daily as well as the occasional sundays where a variety of vendors come and sell their handcrafted products (food jewelry clothes decor etc) is the icing on the cake. I challenge you to find a better environment with a better staff because this is it right here they have it all! I stop in next to daily and seeing the baristas and actually being able to have a non transactional...

I absolutely love Scoot! The quality of their cold brew is incredible and it’s just awesome to see a place specialize in cold brew let alone do so well at producing it! Also the people who work here are incredible people; super friendly, helpful, and just all around fun, warm vibes. Also they have awesome merch, be it the shirts handcrafted by barista(s) or the stickers and pins, I love it all! I tell everyone to go here if they can, I myself cannot...
