My experience with Rooms Today Outlet... Yesterday, I had my beautiful couch delivered. Very happy with my couch but the delivery service Rooms Today Outlet uses is the worst!!! The two young gentleman handling my couch and getting it in the house were great. What was not great, more like horrible...was the owner of the delivery service named Keith Reeves. I listened to him belittle his employees right in front of me while not lifting a finger of his own and it was extremely uncalled for. To make matters worse, after they were finished getting my couch in I noticed my back gate, that they brought the couch through, didn't looked closed so I went out to close it...only to find out that Keith broke my brand new fence, installed about a 2 mths ago. Keith must not have been able to figure out how to open it, instead of just coming to get me and ask me how it was done, he took it upon himself to try and force it open. He ripped all the screws drilled into the wood clean out of their spot and broke the lock. THEN....I brought it up to his attention that he indeed broke my brand new fence, HE COMPLETELY lied to my face trying to make believe my dogs must have broken it. He couldn't even own up to the damage he caused to my property. He just stood there and completely denied he did it. Arguing with me as if I was going to believe his ongoing story of lies! I knew better and I was getting infuriated the more this jerk tried to insult my intelligence. That gate was perfectly intact before he even got here. He never bothered to admit he did it, apologize or anything. He was quick to take my money for delivery as soon as he arrived. I HIGHLY suggest that Rooms Today Outlet to NEVER use this guy again for any sale they make in the future!!! I just paid someone $100 (with tip) to destroy my property and get away with it. I know that this guy is not directly affiliated with Rooms Today Outlet but they really should screen their delivery personal much better! SO VERY UPSET! I have to have the fencing company, that just installed my fence, come back out to fix the damaged that he caused. I have 6 dogs that could very well escape my yard now because he broke the gate lock clean off. Not to mention, the extra expense I have now to fix my gate just for having a couch delivered. SO MY HUSBAND AND I DECIDE TO BUY A GLASS TABLE WITH 4 CHAIRS AND A BENCH THAT WE LOVE, BUT WE ARE STILL BEING MADE TO PAY FOR THE ONE THAT WE CAN'T USE. NOT TO MENTION THAT EVERYTIME I CONTACT THE STORE I AM TOLD THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT RESPONDED AND/OR THAT THE STORE MANAGER IS EITHER UNAVAILABLE OR NOT IN THE STORE.. AND THAT'S WHEN THEY ANSWER THE PHONE..PLEASE DON'T WALK PLEASE RUN FROM THIS STORE AS I AM DOING BECAUSE THE QUALITY OF CUSTOMER CARE HAS FALLEN WAY BELOW THE PAST STANDARDS.....AND LETS NOT FORGET THE DELIVERY ISSUES THAT WE HAD TRYING TO GET THE NEW TABLE DELIVERED......THE ONLY REASON I CONTINUE TO PAY FOR A TABLE I CAN'T USE IS BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO MESS UP MY LINE OF CREDIT, IT TURNS OUT THAT THE EXACT SAME ACIMA THAT YOU CAN USE AT ROOMS TODAY CAN BE USED AT ASHLEY FURNITURE.... Read moreThe gray couches right in front of the store were reccomend by the sales associate who was very kind, but they are the absolute worst couches I have ever purchased in my life. Had them two months and the cushions are flattened and their isn't much room on them front to back which makes them uncomfortable to sit on. I am in need of purchasing new couches and went in today to let them know how bad the couches I got from there were and see of I could get some kind of discount on purchasing two new couches after just purchasing two full size couches like three months ago, and the response I got was " well that's subjective and there's nothing we can do for you." OK I'll take my $2,000 and spend it somewhere else. I didn't care what kind of discount just something since I literally just spent nearly $2,000 in their store about 3 months ago. Terrible experience I will never ever shop there again.
The fabric is falling apart, and if they are re-stuffed it will still not make it comfortable because the limited amount of deep space. I wasn't asking for a refund simply some form of discount on purchasing nee ones, but the associate made it clear he could not help me. No worries I'll go elsewhere to buy new couches. Literally any discount offered to make the situation right would have been appreciated, but no that wasn't the case. I can send pictures of how bad the couch is, but ultimately the associate preferred to loose out on another two grand in business than do any kind of rectifying of the situation. It's okay though I'm sure another store will appreciate...
