Went there today. It's Sunday found a cordless electric broom. It worked great and was only $3.49. Went to look at the shoes and walked away then realized that I had forgotten the broom. Asked an associate who worked there if he had moved it. He said no but agreed to help me find it. This was a nice gesture. However , I remembered there was another associate who was organizing the shoes. I spotted her and we asked her about the broom and her response was I threw it away. Furious about this I told her I didn't believe it and asked her why. She responded that it was broken. I assured her that it was working fine as I had tried it out. She told me that people were complaining about it being broken. I told her that the story just did not sound right and told her that it worked fine for me and I was willing to buy it anyway as is. So ..... she asked me in a confrontational way well what do you want me to do about it. . So after a lengthy absence she appears with the broom with the handle broken off of it. Clearly the broom had been broken by her as I would not have been able to test it out if the handle was broken. And I doubt very seriously it staff would have put something like that on the floor. Gonna make a call to corporate office in the morning as Renee needs to be re-education on customer service and the importance of not lying to customers. I felt that she wanted the item for herellf and had to break the handle or something to clear up the lie she told. Smh. And she had the nerve to ask me why I was so angry. ...
Read moreWish I could give negative stars. Walked into the savers with my friend with a small backpack and a tote bag. Not even 5 minutes in and a worker approached us and said she needed to search our bag (not even legally allowed to search our bags????) and then proceeded to tell us we had to put our bags at the back counter. We complied and then noticed two girls across from us who had the SAME EXACT bags. We asked if they went through the same process to which they said they'd been there an hour and hadn't been asked to put their bags behind a counter or have their bags searched. We went back and grabbed our bags (rightfully so) as it was unfair that other people could walk around the store with their bags. The manager approached us and told us if we didn't put our bags back we'd have to leave. We proceeded to explain its unfair that we had to put our bags behind the counter and that no one else did. We told her if we were getting kicked out the other people still carrying bags with them should be kicked out as well. She refused. When my friend tried to show her she assaulted her and pushed her away. I have video of her threatening to assault both of us saying "I'm seconds away from being off the clock" (implying she was going to clock out to fight us... Real mature for a manager savers 😑) first and last time I will ever stop here. So ashamed of this store and...
