I love how Darl is sharing the joy of the good life he has been privileged to live in such an open and generous way.
If you are mobility disabled, do be aware that you will face numerous challenges in this historic building. Darl is doing his best and there is only so much that can be done. There is a seated lift for the stairs, but my family had to carry my wheelchair up the stairs for me (not sure if there is a way to hook a wheelchair or rollator onto those lifts but I suspect it would negatively impact the safety of the humans using them). Also the door to the restroom on the exhibit hall floor is too narrow to get a standard width wheelchair in. I did not have the necessary stamina the one time we visited to check the performance space floor but I hope to enjoy Darl's generous hospitality again after the summer heat issues (the building does not have air conditioning and I am medically unable to sweat, so I cannot predict when I might visit in the summer heat) and hopefully we can collaboratively resolve some more of the...
