Shish Kabob Express — Restaurant in Clinton Township

Spent almost $50 on food there today. Really disappointed. We used to get meals here monthly and they were always decent- not top notch but tasty and worth eating. Today we ordered multiple meals (sandwiches and entrees and dessert). Everything except the toum (garlic) was awful. Every single type of meat we got (kafta, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, meat grape leaves) was so dried out. Like it had been under heat lamps all day long. The grape leaves themselves were completely dried out. Grape leaves are my all time favorite food and I took one bite and spit it out because I could barely even chew through it. The baklava has very little flavor and was also dry. Totally underwhelmed and disappointed and will unfortunately be finding another place to get Lebanese food. I honestly think today everything was made many hours before we placed our order and was sitting out under heat lamps all day. The customer service is good, but that just won’t make up...

I used Shish Kabob Express to cater a Young Catholic Professionals event. What drew me to them was that since it's the Easter season, I wanted to serve lamb, but I had to stick to a budget. SKE delivered as their lamb shawarma is the same price as their beef and chicken shawarma and very delicious. Everyone at our event loved the food. The owner even gave me a small dish of rice for free.

Two things to keep in mind about their menu: 1. The prices for their salad aren't up-to-date--they're actually cheaper than listed, and 2. Although they say the large trays only feed 20 people, they can very easily feed 30-50. We had a lot leftover, but had no problems getting rid of it as a lot of people took leftovers home.

I can definitely recommend SKE and I hope to visit them...

I ordered delivery from this place and I had it before and it was pretty good this time they sent me the wrong drink instead of just not giving me the right drink or taking the drink off because they didn’t have it available they sent me a mystery drink and when I called up there and I said why didn’t you take it off my order instead of sending me something that I wouldn’t drink he told me I was yelling at him and I was not yelling at him he was just on speakerphone and he hung up in my face so I then had to call back up there because you that’s rude to hang up in my face I’m a customer if without me you don’t have a business I mean without your customers per ratherIt was a really bad experience and at this point I don’t even want to eat the food because...
