Ingleside Center — Local services in Clinton Township

Looks can be decieveing! Do NOT just breeze by here without realizing, that you might be missing out on some little treasure in this older, unassuming strip mall. The Community Thrift Store is ALWAYS first on my list! REAL treasures to be found there. But all the thrift stores, are worth your time... Some of what you'll find in the different store's nooks and crannies, will nostalgically take you back in time! My favorite Farmers Market of ALL times is found on the strip's opposite end from Community Thrift. Went to the Salvation Army resale. Got two tin buildings. They are similar in that one is a music box, and the other winds up and has an old-fashioned car that turns. One @ $3.99, the other $12.99. I asked for a small adjustment on the higher-priced item because the discrepancy was too significant. The mgr. refused and told me that if anything, they would take back the cheaper one and put a new, higher price on it. What? I'm asking for $6.00!! You know that this place rakes in $1,000's a day. Went to the new dollar store here, and my 5 star rating is for that. The Dollar Store is better than dollar tree lol. Yeah, about the same price, however this Dollar Store is double and a half, the size of dollar tree, so there are tons more options here, and that's what I love. There's every thing you need here, furniture, kitchen appliances, absolutely everything is here. Best part, is the young man cashier guy.
