I ordered a bunch of food from this place for my mother birthday party and got sick throwing up. I had to rush to a hospital and they told us it was food poisoning. The next day I called to explain what just happened and the owner starts yelling, "how do I know you got sick from eating at my place you could have for sick from somewhere else and I sell 3000 pizza everyday with no one getting sick". I tried to explain calmly but he escalated to the point where he started to curse at me and my mom over the phone. He has no respect talking to a customer and acts as a child yelling at us.
After reading the other reviews online it turns out other people have gotten sick at this place before, so beware if you want to waste your money at this place and end up in the hospital. I will also be reporting this to the health department and the corporate offices regarding the foul language of the owner of this establishment.
Update: Regarding the owners comment/reply : As the owner you should not make lies about customers, who put one star reviews. We never asked for free food or threatened you at all. We called to report it and wanted a refund for the food. I think you are confusing me with someone else, because we even offered to bring all the food back at the same day, buy you refused. Read moreIf i could put no stars or thumbs down i would! Worst experience with a Papa John's ever. Did an online order specified a few normal requests like light sauce, cooked well done. Breadsticks were literally just cooked dough no type of garlic or anything on the bread. Literally super dry. Called to talk to the manager cause I just spent almost 40$ To feed my kids. ABSOLUTELY THE RUDEST PERSON TO SPEAK WITH EVER!!!! He wouldnt let me get a word in edge wise. Yelled at me and said I should know how they make the food there and i should have asked for seasoning. Read moreUnfortunately, our experience on Saturday, July 5th was extremely disappointing. The person working that night hung up on us without resolving anything. We were delivered the wrong order—despite the employee acknowledging that the orders were mixed up—and they refused to fulfill a replacement order before closing. We had ordered jalapeño papa bites, 12-inch bacon cheese bread, buffalo wings, sauces, etc., but instead, we received two orders of brownies.
When we called to address the issue, we were told it was 'not their problem' and that we should ask for a refund, even though the store was still open. We called back immediately, only to be left on hold and then hung up on again. This was incredibly frustrating, especially considering the circumstances. It’s not difficult to provide better service. I hope the management addresses this behavior because it was completely unnecessary and made an already tough night worse. We’re left with brownies for dinner, thanks to the lack of customer service. Do not recommend ever, just order from any other pizza place - they all do a better without even trying which clearly this store doesn’t care about.
