To start, I'm not expecting high-caliber service or top-tier food. I know what a reasonable expectation of fast food is, and the food was actually perfectly fine. The experience was awful, and I felt I needed to share. I ordered online for an "in-store pickup." I prefer that over drive thru, as I find it's a little quicker in most cases. This was around 6:10 PM on a Tuesday, so pretty normal time. I try to enter the building, and all doors are locked. I knock on the door as there is an associate sitting near the one, and she answers it, completely shocked as to why I would try to get in the building. I show her my online order and she says I'm supposed to go through drive-thru. I show her that it's an in-store pickup, and she says it isn't ready yet. I said that's fine, no rush, but I need to get in the building to get the pick-up order! She is clearly angry with me and giving me non-stop attitude, announces to the staff, "there's some guy here who said he has a door dash or something." I said, no, it's just an online order that I ordered to pickup in the store. Two associates are staring at each other and stare back at me like I'm crazy... the older lady that let me in and already acted like I was a huge problem kept shaking her head and throwing her hands up. Because I tried to get in the building... at 6:15 PM on a Tuesday! I was perfectly calm, but let them know I was confused as to how this was supposed to work with them arbitrarily locking the door in the middle of the day. No one could explain. I totally get that things happen, and if they had just cordially stated that they were under-staffed or something and I needed to go to drive-thru, no problem! They were simply rude and snippy from the beginning for no reason and couldn't even grasp how anyone would find it odd that they were closed that...
Read moreThey were all high. The one âacting managerâ was standing in front of very front door facing entry and exit to a mai popular road smoking a very strong joint. He saw me pull up (she was high too at drive thru and had me pull up on the curb of entry sidewalk where ppl pull in and there is no room) then she walks out and says to me she doesnât know whatâs going on and did I get my diet pop and what size cus I have to pay for it . Wait what? I tell her get manager outside I had to go to Work asking whatâs going on. Nothing . Had me literally on curb where ppl come and go and in entry exit way where no room for my small suv. I go in and theyâre all high. Literally saying they have no idea whatâs going on. She sets a bag on counter and walks away. I said is that mine etc. she says j donât know . Wait what? lol. So then âacting managerâ says really mean to me w his high eyes bugged out âWHAT DID YOU ORDER!!!!â I felt so uncomfortable . Like you know when you see plll go crazy and you worry something bad is about to happen? So as that happened and then I checked bag and see whatâs in there which was my stuff maybe /garbage I picked it up and said I didnât want the ish and it slid off the counter to their floor and I do feel bad I did that but I wanted to run to be honest I was nervous theyâd pull a gun or knife. They were pretty high. I did write corporate and should have a response by now and will update accordingly but this is my second bad incident there and I def wonât be back here after this. It put me in a twilight zone of fight or flight like something could happen and I tossed the bag gently and walked out briskly. When I got to work ppl of all races said itâs the ghetto Taco Bell (saying this so no one pulls the race card on me for saying this) and that they donât to to that one EVER. So...
Read moreI have been to this location many times. They are one of the few fast food locations that are open late, and that is appreciated. That said, of course the wait can be VERY long! The employees are not in any hurry and don't seem to be very happy, and there's probably reasons for that, but none of which are the customers fault. HOWEVER, last night, 6/3/22 around 11pm I got proof that the speed does depend on the employees. It was a very long line and I was able to get through it and get my food in about 10 minutes! The only reason I'm leaving a review... and the ONLY reason it is a 5 star review is because of the super star in the drive thru last night, Miss Teresa!!! Not only was she quick and efficient, this woman was kind, patient, sweet and so helpful! They were out of what I was sent to get, I got completely tongue tied, and with a line around the building she without any irritation in her voice helped me figure it out and got me what I needed, and I mean she said don't worry about it, we'll figure it out, describe it honey and I'll tell you what it is, and she did!!! It is so rare to come across a person in customer service so wonderful and I hope taco bell knows what a jewel they have!! Teresa, if you're reading this, thank you! I know it doesn't seem like much, but the type of kindness you give to people, even for a minute, can make their whole day (or night). Especially with the world the way it is right now. And no blame to the employees I know they are fed up, but we customers know that most customer service employees are not very happy when dealing with us in the current work environment... so Teresa just blew me away!! It felt like she had that motherly kindness and she's the type of person that just makes the world a...
