I feel so lucky to have this unique storefront in town and appreciate all of the effort the staff clearly makes to ensure that the every visit is special and welcoming. They love our community and it shows. Recently, I met a friend there who was traveling through town from New Jersey and loves lupini beans! They could be hard to find and the Italian store almost always has them so I suggested we meet up there for a quick cup of coffee too. What started out as just a short trip turned into the most relaxing and enjoyable afternoon…. While enjoying the cappuccino and some delicious gelato for the kids, it started to rain. The owner and staff so graciously invited us to sit inside with my dog (who was also fed gelato!) and we felt so comfortable and welcomed that we turned it into a whole visit. I really want to commend the owner and staff (lovely lady who works behind the counter and makes the most amazing gift bags too!) for being so genuine and kind. And also Italian treats are the best...

What a gem in downtown Clinton! We had the best time getting to talk to the owner Fran while we were there, who is clearly so passionate about his business. He travels to Italy often and even toured the pasta factory that he sources his products from. Everything sold here is as authentic as it gets and is extremely high-quality. He has DOP certified aged balsamic which isn’t easy to find! He gave us a sample and it is definitely the best balsamic I’ve ever had. You could spend so much time here looking through the shelves of his offerings. I was impressed by the beautiful gift baskets he has there as well. Italian Food Store is a hidden gem! They offer such high-quality products to cook at home from olive oils to pastas and sauces (but so much more!) I also can’t say enough good things about their fresh coffee and pastry menu. Their Italian coffee menu is spot on from their cappuccinos to their affogatos, they offer something everyone will love! There is also cute nook areas inside and outside seating to enjoy your fresh cannoli’s (THE BEST) or other menu items at. Everything we’ve had from there has exceeded our expectations. Not to mention the staff at Italian Food Store is the best, you will not meet anyone like them: truly the nicest group of people. We can’t wait to...
