Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience here: we chose to get our hair and makeup done to have less stress before the wedding; However, this ended up more rushed to run home and take it all out and redo it ourselves. The photos are the bride and maid of honor, what we each asked for versus what we received. I think we were both so shocked at how bad it was, we just said "yeah that's fine" when she asked if we liked it. Absolutely nothing about our words or faces expressed any indication that we liked it let alone loved it. We figured rather than have her attempt to do something better with it, we chose to use the time to do it ourselves, and so we just left. There was so much teasing/ratting powder in it, we could barely get it to hold a curl and took 3 washes to get it out. Makeup on the other hand, looked ok. I ended up wiping some of it off but it wasn't bad. I did remove the false lashes as they were only half stuck on by the time we drove the 1 mile back to my house. We both felt the experience was rushed like they were hurrying: we were there for a total of 1hr with hair and make up for 2 people. The total paid was just under $250. I msged her for prices on eyelashes. She could’ve gave me a price and let me deal with what inevitably would happen at a loss of my money, but she chose to be honest and tell me up front that my eye condition due to Bell’s palsy would make the eyelashes fall off fast and she recommended a cheaper alternative. I’m sure if I said I didn’t care, she would’ve done them, but I feel she’s an honest person and not out to just take take take. I will now recommend her when I see a need for her services and will go to her myself for other things if I need something she offers.
