My Galaxy S7 Edge screen out of nowhere stopped working and most of the screen would show nothing but white.
I looked at reviews and called different repair services in the area, what caught my attention to go with Mobile Spot was the very friendly and professional customer service at the beginning.
I took my Galaxy S7 Edge and was told my phone would be repaired as soon as the display arrived in 2-3 days. I ended up waiting 2 weeks because of problems with USPS shipping delivery.
Once my phone was fixed, I was so happy to have all my data intact. I did not lose anything and the screen was working again.
Although the screen is working, there is visible damage along the edge of the glass on the back from what appears to be the tools used to pry the glass off. The glass is not damaged but since the layer below is damaged, it gives the impression of chipped glass.
This visual imperfection was not there prior to the repair, I find this disappointing.
I called Mobile Spot about this problem, and they gave me the impression that they would only adhere to their warranty claim if the problem was major or if it affected the usage of the phone, not a minor imperfection caused by the technician during the repair process. Since I'm no longer in Des Moines, I'm no longer able to let Mobile Spot to visually inspect, I asked if I could ship the phone but Mobile Spot says they do not deal with cases this way.
I have sent this phone to Samsung for repairs in the past once, although they factory reset your phone everytime. Their repair cost is way cheaper than Mobile Spot or other third party repair shops and they ensure that your phone is not damaged during repairs, which Mobile does not guarantee.
If all you want is your phone to be repaired without the guarantee of damage during repair and that your data is not wiped, than Mobile Spot is the way to go.
You may have different expectations but it's ultimately your phone, don't let my negative experience determine who handles your phone.

They said yes, we can replace yours with new ones. I also needed a new phone screen after having owned my Pixel for a few years now. It was only until a week after that that I realized they didn't replace the buttons with anything new.
Two stars because I called specifically to have the buttons replaced with new ones, which didn't happen. Even though they repaired the usage of the old ones, I feel cheated since I explictally requested to have the old buttons replaced. Instead, the usage of my old ones were repaired.
