United Way of Eastern New Mexico — Local services in Clovis

I called on the 1st of August to receive assistance with rent because I recently became disabled and wasnt able to pay it. Jane the "supervisor" stated she was able to help and contacted my landlord and told her she would send documents over to have them signed so she could send the rent check. 2 weeks pass and my landlord calls saying jane never sent the documents or rent. I called united way and left MULTIPLE messages for the next 2 weeks, none of which jane responded to. It is now August 31st, i block my number and jane finally answers! Only to say she "found discrepancies" and wouldnt be paying the rent. What kind of discrepancy could there even be, its a place that is supposed to help people. Not only am i screwed for august, jane proceeded to yell at me like it was MY fault that i was upset because no one contacted me from united way and told me they had decided to not pay. If jane really is a supervisor, she could have at least had the professionalism to tell me 3 weeks ago they werent...

Its such a good feeling to see, hear and know that there really are true loving, caring, Kind-hearted people still in this world whom go out of their own way to help others in any way they can and/or to help the community by raising money, having fundraisers, charity, funding events, etc in order to make it a better a place! Very heart warming! Thanks united way for all that you do for the community of Clovis, NM and it's surrounding...

Creo que estas personas ayudan a los que quieren nomas, por mi experiencia lo digo ya que una vez le di el número a una amiga para que pregunte por ayuda de servicios y le dijeron que no tenían fondos y se me hizo raro entonces volví a llamar por ella ya mi me dijeron que si, y bueno en ese momento así quedo pero luego después de tiempo llame y dijeron que no tenían fondos y ok así lo deje y hace un mes aproximadamente llame y me dijeron que llamara en una semana y llame y otra vez no tenían fondos que volviera a llamar después y después de 2 semanas nada todavía no tienen haha eso ya es ridículo pero no creo que el presidente de la compañía se quede si sun muuuy buen pago por estar de rata...
