The gold medal, for any service of business rests on 3 things for me.
First, the sales process. They made it easy. The estimator / salesperson came out showed us samples with a ton of options, measured out the space we wanted to replace, and provided us with a solid quote that achieved all our goals, which he, Krivo, knew because he listened to us.
Second, the price. I was pleasantly surprised. We were considering a bath fitter for our shower tub combination and the Prime Baths option was surprisingly much more cost effective, and way more solid. Krivo really worked with us to make sure that we were getting the best deals too.
Third, the delivery / workmanship / professionalism. Beau showed up when he said he was going to, did the work, and was very respectful of our home and property. The workmanship was flawless, and we're loving the look and functionality of our new tub/shower combo.
But to get the platinum medal, it's a little weird to say, but something has to go wrong. To explain, if you judge someone, solely on their best day, when everything is perfect, everyone would get a perfect rating. But if something goes wrong, you get to really see the real quality of a service/person/company. We did have such a problem, and key to me was that Krivo knew what had happened, knew how to fix it, owned the problem completely, and made it right in a reasonable amount of time. It makes me believe that Prime Baths is a company that is going to stand behind their work, and make things right when they go wrong.
So platinum medal! Thanks Prime Baths for a great experience, and our...
Read moreWe saw them out at the Sandwich fair where they were advertising $2500 off if we scheduled the estimate at the fair. We never received the discount! This was problem one. We scheduled the estimate and the owners son Andrew came out which wasn’t an issue. He looked things over and said we should move the plumbing to a different wall and the drain to the center of the shower stall. He told us the standard price was $11,500.00 and we chose a color which was $400.00. He then asked if we were going to use a shower curtain and we said no it needs a door like it has now. So he came up with pricing for moving the plumbing and the drain of $14,750.00. The job was supposed to be one day and it took a long two days, the plumbing wasn’t moved and the drain wasn’t moved. We talked with Andrew about it at first and said it’s fine that the plumbing didn’t get moved but we’d need a credit for the work that wasn’t being completed. We were offered $400.00. I’ve been in the trades for 35 years and I know that those jobs would have been a few thousand dollars if I was calling a plumber to have this done. Andrew said that the guys did what was on the work order. Which they showed me and moving plumbing wasn’t on the work order. So basically what happened was Andrew promised us work that was to be done which never got done and offered a $400 discount. After almost a month of back and for with the company we received a measly $1000 off for probably what was $2000 worth of work order more that wasn’t completed. I’d be very cautious hiring them. The work the guys did was good but the company ethics are...
Read moreI decided to book an estimate with Prime Baths largely based on their excellent customer reviews. So, after making contact with their office my first in-home estimate was scheduled for August 18th, at 6pm. I received a call that morning from Prime Bath stating that their estimator had a family emergency, and had to cancel. This was frustrating, but, I understand people have a life outside of work. I was then rebooked for another estimate September 1st, at 6pm. I waited until 6:30 pm and no estimator showed up-and no courtesy call was received. After the Labor Day holiday (Tuesday) I get a morning call from a Prime Bath employee asking when I would like to reschedule my estimate. The Prime Bath employee told me according to their notes that I (me) made a last minute cancellation for September 1st due to a family emergency. Of course, when I reached out to Prime Bath’s main office to find out why they were a no-show, I got a pretty typical response. For example, “we truly apologize, it was entered incorrectly on the calendar, we have specials and lifetime warranty(s) you really want to take advantage of, your time is very valuable, etc.” Moving forward, I have decided not to business with this firm. I work out of town Monday-Friday, 10 hours a day. When I get home to my family, my time is invaluable. At the end of the day, no customer wants excuses. I really wish that someone would have fully owned this situation and told me what Prime Bath was going to do to TRULY make it right and EARN my business. Sadly, all I was offered was an apology and booking another estimate based on my...
