We have been coming here for years and have always loved going there. My adult son met with Dr Emily Whittington who we really like. He was referred to the oral surgeon he needed 2 teeth removed they only wanted to do one but both were causing him a lot of pain. He told them he had wanted both to come out they were both broken. One on right top and lower right bottom you could see they were broken. They removed the wrong lower tooth. Literally left the broken tooth in. He went back inside we hadnāt left yet and a lady in the back yelled at him to calm down she was trying to take care of. He was like Iām upset and she was like well we will remove it and not charge you for the miscommunication!!! What miscommunication the oral surgeon never comes and talks to you. The oral surgeon literally blamed the dentist that it was their fault not hers to take it up with them. This was the Friday before Easter and no one cared. The oral surgeon should have talked to him to verify the right teeth but no they blamed him and Dr Emily, there wasnāt even a Iām sorry. On Monday someone called to see how I was cause I had a tooth also taken care of but never once called or checked on my son. I told the lady I had an issue with what happened to my son and she said she would pull his records and the office manager would call me back and itās now Friday and nothing. They also wrote him a prescription that he was allergic to and was suppose to give him a different one but didnāt. I called his pcp and he took care of it. This is absolutely ridiculous and what is the solution to fix this??? This is a mistake on their part, the oral surgeon has a duty to speak to patient before they do the procedure. I would like this taken care of before we proceed with taking this further since no one there...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad a recent visit to this dental office and I can definitely say that Iām not afraid to go see a dentist anymore. So we me, anytime I go to any type of business my visit starts when I get out of my car. From the front entrance to the waiting room lobby was clean, neat and organize. As soon as I walked to the counter I was greeted by every employee that was in my eye sight which I never had that happen before. I was handed paper work to fill out for both me and my three year old son, which it was pretty easy to fill out, my son was able to play in the play area while we wait. As soon as we was called to go to the back to get started I realized that I didnāt have anyone to watch my son while I was being taken care of by the staff. With the look of confusion across my face the office manager, Anais, walk over to me and asked if I wanted her to watch him until I was done. When I say she was my life saver that I didnāt even know I needed. When it was time to see the dentist, Dr. Whittington, I did get a little nervous so I let my three year old go first, donāt judge me, but I saw the way she took care of him I knew I was in good hands. She took her time and gave me her recommendations with no pressure on the dental work I needed and I agreed with it and she went right to work. Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe are highly disappointed with the entire company of Bear Creek!! We have a 9yo with a very special case of Amelogenesis Imperfecta. We have been bounced around between doctors. 1st we started with a Dr. O. then found out he is no longer with the company. Then we were put with Dr. Ludlow. He performed the very delicate surgery on our 9yo. He did not do the job we were hoping for, for the finished result. Today my wife had to take her to another Bear Creek office for working on a plan for braces. However, after over an hour drive to the office, she finds out that Dr. Ludlow is no longer with Bear Creek. So, the orthodontist that our 9yo was seen by today, did not have a plan to mover forward. Not one person has ever bothered to call us, email, us, or leave a message. So every trip we have to take from our house to Dallas is over an hour away. This is totally unacceptable. We have a NPO in her name that is paying for all cost after insurance. So, its not like they are having to file with some sort of government entity to receive payment. No one at this place of business, or the owners seem to care. I hope that someone reads this, and would reach out to us, to at least give an explanation or tell us they don't want our business.
