Childhood favorite & hood staple. while i was thinking of recommendations for a friend traveling down, i immediately thought of this place. i've out of tx for years, and even then, this place still never left my mind. The atmosphere is very homely, the staff is very polite and receptive, & the overall vibe is, especially on spring/summer nights, feels like you're at a neighborhood carne asada (miss those). the food is about as authentic as it gets, and as fresh as it gets. beautiful memories from a beautiful restaurant, please give these folks a try, y por favor prueban su torta de fajita y sus chicharrones. son bastante...

Excellent fajita tacos, fresh flour tortillas made from scratch, and staff is super nice. Portions are generous for the price without sacrificing quality of food. Throughout the past few decades, businesses came and went at this location but Tacos Sarandeados Juanito is here to stay!! My only complaint is that they use foam trays. I would come here more often if they had a greener approach, like using paper based plates and take-out...

Very excited to have found this place. Loved the tacos sarandeados and the tacos rojos.

Sarandeados = mixed meets (I think beef, pork) and cheese; tacos rojos = super crispy and light shells with meat, potatoes, lettuce, and tomatoes inside, and it pairs perfectly with the salsa served with them.

Will definitely be returning, and I definitely recommend adding this to your short list of places to check out if it’s not too...
