Convenient location but rather small market. Usually cashiers are nice and helpful. But make sure to find experienced ones, otherwise you'll end up paying about 5% more due to wrong code entry errors, especially if you buy fruits and vegetables.
The prices sometimes not up to date (previous weeks' sale prices can still be on some items), so expect to pay more if you think that item you get is on sale.
Basically, know that self checkout is generally protect you from this store's pricing errors. I'm using this Kroger twice a week at least. Half of the time I find an error in my receipt. And going over the receipt is a torturous waste of time. The customer service (except a few occasions) treat such errors as nuisance. They won't let you know about your right to get the item for free if there is a price error.
Make sure to check expiration dates. I usually find expired items in tortilla section, yogurt section and cheese section. Some items expired a month ago and pose a health risk. Since customer service is so surly, instead of warning them, I generally turn them upside down to flag them.
The deli is well stocked but not well attended. I had to call other employees to fetch an attendant from the storage area, or wait about 3-4 minutes to someone to come from back. If you see someone in Deli section, just order right away before he disappears.
I am refraining from giving one star because there are some really nice, friendly and attentive cashiers and...
Read moreI had a very enjoyable time at Krogers tonight because of 2 people. The one man with a dark beard and dark hair has helped me out a couple of times, forgot to ask his name, but he is super friendly, and had lifted my 35 lb box of catlitter into the cart and out to my car..he offered to stay and take it out for me, but he told me his shift was ending, and I didn't want to keep him stuck there waiting on me..very nice young man! A great big shout out to Karrie who was the checkout girl..super friendly, super sweet..if I see her working I'll be waiting in her line, no matter how long it may be. She was fast and friendly!!! Good job also to the guy who bagged my groceries..don't know his name, he had a mohawk..I see this guy all the time, he is such a good hard worker, and he's always there, very dedicated employee..he should get the most valued employee award!!! I'd give it to all 3..they all deserve it!!! Thanks Kroger, for hiring the best of the best...
Read moreAs we approached the Kroger Liquor Store, the clerk "Kristina" was glaring at us from the window. As we entered, she immediately asked us if we had our IDs in a rude voice. We said yes and began to look for our wine. She walked up to us and again asked us if we were sure that we were over 21. I am 23 and my cousin is 24. She continued to give us dirty looks until we made a hasty selection and checked out. We both provided IDs and she looked at me in the face and then looked at my ID like she was skeptical. I felt that we were being targeted and harassed for no reason, especially since she has assisted my cousin numerous times and had no reason to believe we were underage, aside from her own snap judgement. We will never return. We will instead take our business to Bluegrass Liquor, where they are courteous and ask for ID in a...
