This library location is in a safe area adjacent to a church and a park with picnic tables and a stationary outdoor grill. The staff at library is very knowledgeable and happy to help anyone. This location does have some busy times like after-school programs and other activities...just say this library is lively and very alive, its a fun place, a peaceful place, a people place, clean and comfortable, with up to date copiers and fax, items are sold here like earbuds to listen to your computer. Seating is always available. CARPETED FLOORING, meeting rooms, great parking, activity schedules near entrance automated doors BTW this place is HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE and return books drive thru is located on the Southside of the one way driveway. The Sister library for this one is SAINT BERNARD branch on Vine Street which mirrors this Groesbeck library however GROESBECK LIBRARY IS 3 TIMES BIGGER and Saint Bernard library parking is up a hill and across the street from the library. Plenty of computers are available for your online needs. You can also check out one of a number of laptops then book one of their private rooms and write a school paper. I highly recommend this location for all your library needs. Topping it all off is the staff. Absolutely amazing they are. Always friendly and attentive. Even if you don't need any personal service, I suggest simply saying hello and thank you because throughout all of the craziness of the pandemic, they were there to support their community. Read moreI love the library and all it stands for. But this location needs to get it together. People in the parking lot blaring music. Can’t even come out to make a phone call. People inside eating fried chicken and all sorts of things at the computers. I came out with my checked out items only to be asked for some change by a man with no shoes on. Right in front of the door. The workers there have seem to have just given up. What used to be a safe space that I loved bringing my daughter to is just a memory now.
