Dunn Hall is a very convenient place to live. It is in the commons which in general has a lot of useful ammenities like a store, food market, study room, dining hall, and game room. But out of all the commons dorms Dunn Hall is definitely the worst, most neglected and grossest. It is old, nasty, the lighting in the hallway is poor and inconsistent. Dunn always has a weird smell and the shower situation was absolutely terrible, there was no light in the shower so you always had to shower in the dark and the whole floor was black like it was covered in mold or something. I did not enjoy my experience living there and would not recommend Dunn Hall, but do think any other dorm in the commons would be a suitable place to live, and again very convenient location. Also, there are apparently renovations set to happen but those won't even 'begin' for another whole year which I think is ridiculous. These renovations are happening years too late and I think its irresponsible to let this dorm diminish this far, compared to the other dorms in the commons Dunn is classified as lower-class place to live due to its lack of furnishing, dirtiness and absence of a kitchen (so insane), which is upsetting since it costs about the same amount as the other commons dorms but offers so much less. Would never in my life live here again and was counting down the days until I could move out of that filth...
Read moreThe amount you pay for this dorm is not worth it. If you are going to choose a hall in the commons I would choose Mosher or Krueger as these are recently renovated. My shower had rust on the walls and partially on the floor upon my arrival and the only thing they did to solve the issue was paint over it. My thermostat also stopped working during the winter and I slept a night in a 54 degree room. Overall, living on campus was convenient but I highly recommend choosing a modular style if possible. Dunn Hall is just very old and I believe will be rennovated by...
Read moreDunn Hall is both physically and mentally not good as the other 3 living halls of The Commons. Physically, it is less furnitured and the white wall of the hallway is so scary. Dunn Hall does not have kitchen, which is also a minus point. Mentally, it do not belongs to the engineering blabla living program as other 3 halls. Anyway, it lives comfortable but it have many...
