I never post reviews. But a barista here needs an entitlement check. Most of them are awesome and I get great coffee, but today I ordered a simple grande cappuccino and received a drink that was 2/3 full. Not 2/3 coffee and 1/3 foam, it was 2/3 even with the foam maybe less than that. As if I’d ordered a Tall. So I went back and asked if I could have more. As a student, money is always tight, so when I have a little extra for coffee, I expect to get what I’m paying for. I wasn’t rude, I even felt a bit awkward because I knew it likely happened because someone was focused on speed rather than quality. It happens. However, the girl who made my drink looked and treated me like I was dirt under her shoe when I asked, perhaps she felt called out, I get it. Though she also proceeded to talk poorly of me in front of me like I couldn’t hear her. Another barista remade my drink and it was great after, kudos to them.
I’m a waitress and understand customer service, it’s difficult, but it’s also okay to recognize that maybe you messed up your proportions. Just apologize and correct it, then move on. No need to take it personally and treat...
Read moreThey take an understandably long time to serve drinks when they’re busy. Sometimes I have to wait around 30 minutes for my food and drinks. That’s not the main issue though. Everyone who works at this Starbucks seems like they do not have guest service skills. Every time I try to thank them for my food/drinks I get ignored. The worst experience I had ordering here was when I was waiting for 30 minutes on a drink and asked someone to check if it was still in the que and they just waved me off and said it probably was in the que. After another 15 minutes I could see that other people who had barely ordered were getting their drinks and I still hadn’t got mine. So I asked again if it was in their cue and they said no. So I spent an extra 15 minutes waiting when the problem could’ve been fixed the first time. This Starbucks isn’t the worst, they do a decent job at making orders correctly. They can’t do anything about the insanely long wait times, but I do wish the baristas would think a little more about...
Read moreI personally love the worker Ariana Rimera who works at this particular Starbucks. I was in and out of the line within 20 seconds, she asked me how my day was, and even helped me choose a drink since it was my first time. She started me out with a free water, and helped me choose my now favorite drink (Strawberry Açaí). I have been going to this Starbucks everyday from then on, JUST because of the welcoming service from this worker. She always has a bright, cheery, happy smile every time I go and I LOVE the energy, quickness, and friendliness she exudes to the customers. I don't know how much she is paid, but she NEEDS A RAISE!!! I would wrote this review because of the amazing customer service Ariana Rimera showed me these past 2 weeks, and I look forward to going to this Starbucks more...
