1st the good. The people who work there are nice, this review doesn't really reflect them as they seem to do their best under the circumstances. I purchased the holiday special 2 sets of 4 flights The Ifly system is set up to cheat you. 1 of the games they play is trying to get you to only have 3 flights instead of the the 4 you paid for. Do not allow them to do this, while they say you will get extra time this isn't really true. You are paying in my case $1.00 per second, and I noticed customers they coned into doing this got cheated out of 5-15 seconds per flight as shown on their timer which means they paid $15-$45 for time they never got in total. In my case they actually attempted to remove her from flying after 44 seconds when we paid for 60 seconds. Do not pay for their videos or photos. The 1st time we went, I got nothing. The second time they gave me codes for the videos I was supposed to get before (memories lost) and this visits videos. Again nothing ever arrived to my email. I spoke to the instructor who said we keep all the videos for years. I called the customer service person and she emailed me 40+ videos to download, 4 of which were mine. After downloading all 40+ I only got 3 out of the 4, one of the videos was black, I tried re downloading but that's how the source is. Insult to injury the trainers fly after you fly, they get every last second of flight time. The experience is very off putting. Considering they have a 4.7 review on goodle I suspect I am in the minority in these experiences. For wha they charge they shouldn't be cheating you out of time when you pay $1 per second. I would have purchased more flight time if this company were honorable. You can tell the lack of value for your money comes from management decisions to increase profits. 1 last thing. Both times I have seen a parent have to remind the instructor that their kid is owed a flight that the instructor missed. The instructors have groups of around 8-10 people it seams they loose track of how many flights each person is owed even when they con you into doing less flights with fake more time they still short some people a flight. They have too much to keep track of, it's a systemic problem. They also forget when you pay for the high flights, so you have to remind the instructors. Its too bad Ifly is doesn't delivery,...
Read moreI’m not sure I quite understand the high reviews for this place. Don’t get me wrong 60 seconds in the tube is pretty fun and the facility is nice and clean. What no one states enough in the reviews (which makes me a little dubious it isn’t mostly friends and family) is not only is the experience extremely expensive for what you get, but there is decent learning curve until you can really enjoy an indoor skydiving experience and the associated expense to become proficient would be truly insane, travelling into the thousands of dollars.
We spent $350+tip which gave 4 people 2x1:15 minute jaunts in the tunnel. Mind you these “rides” were constantly cut short by at least 10 seconds per their timer and when you are paying by the minute that was frustrating. This loosely equated to 10 minutes of float time or a sincerely laughable $35.00 a minute. This is more than it would cost to get all day tickets for the family to a major amusement park…The entire process: checking in, suiting up, going through a brief class (love how they tout this class as part of the value, its a 5 minute video) and then the actual turns in the tunnel all took less than an hour and a half (most of which was simply waiting around).
During our visit there were multiple attempts to upsell us on $20.00 increases for each trip in the tunnel to have the instructor take us up to the top of the tube and then they hit us up again at the end of the process to buy hundreds of dollars more in minutes to use later.
I realize they have a several million dollar nut to crack after building this facility, but I can’t help to think this place may be a victim of family cost cutting associated with the insane inflation we are currently experiencing, as it is definitively fringe entertainment for the cost.
Unfortunately, I can’t see us coming back, the fun vs expense is simply too far...
Read moreGood place to experience indoor paragliding. Staff is really good here and helps to make your experience better. (Quick tip: skip taking longer flight or multiple flights package which they will try to sell) There is good space where your family can enjoy seeing you taking the flight. Classroom sessions are informative and help during flight as you cannot talk and you have to learn 4 signs chin up, legs straight, legs bend and relax.
Every package comes with:
Everything in world has its cons, here are few according to me for this location:
Overall, the experience is over-priced considering flights are only for 1 min /2 min each (depending on how many flights you take as per package). Buying videos/images is useless, my recommendation can skip or buy just one video and can capture some screens from the same video to keep as an image.
