Excellent service from the phone call, to the walk in, and driving away! I purchased 4 new tires last year in Walnut Creek when I was on a road trip. This weekend I hit a big pothole and my tire went flat moments later. I called to inquire on Monday and learned I had a warranty certificate on my tires so the replacement would be free! On Tuesday I took my Honda Accord in with a donut. Cedric assisted me and was exceptional! He explained everything and set a reasonable expectation about the time it would take. He even adjusted the time quoted as he was checking me in when he saw that 4 appts arrived while he was helping me. I appreciated that he was valuing both my time and prioritizing the appts. When they were ready to take my car back I realized I didnāt ask about rotating and balancing my tires (also free), I forgot the young manās name who took my car, but he was also wonderful. He told me sure not problem, but asked me to let them know at the counter so they could add it to my order. I went back inside, waited in line and watched Victor, and another gentleman handle the line that formed. They were so nice to each person, acknowledging the line, and never making anyone feel rushed as they went out with each customer to look at their cars. Meanwhile, another young man came from the garage as he saw the line and asked if anyone was just picking up. He was able to reduce the line by two people and provided them excellent service as well as he explained what they had done to their vehicles and thanked them for their business. When it was my turn in line, Victor assisted me with adding the additional services I forgot to ask for. He even went to check on my car when I asked if they could see if there was additional damage underneath. He explained they couldnāt fix it if there was, but heād be happy to look underneath while they had it up on the jacks. Thankfully there wasnāt! They completed my car within 90 minutes of me walking in with no appt and that was the time Cedric quoted to me. I would highly recommend this location to anyone needing tires. They were awesome!! I did end up buying another warranty for the new tire because it was šÆ worth it. Without the warranty my tire would have been over $200! The warranty was $43 with taxes for the life...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn Monday, I noticed something shiny in the tread of my left rear tire. I took a closer look. Great... there's a screw jammed in there.
I bought this set of Falken Wildpeak AT4W tires from America's Tire in Upland. The customer service there is fantastic and I usually go there but that store was about 25-30 miles away at the time. I broke out my phone and searched for America's Tire in Google Maps. There was a location nearby. Awesome!
I called around 11:00 am. Michael answered. I explained the situation. He said bring in on by but there was going to be a wait. He had 14 cars waiting. I asked if I could make an appointment. He said sure. After a few seconds, he asked if 3:00 pm would work. I said that would be perfect.
I arrived right around 3:00 pm. A nice young lady, I didn't catch her name sadly, checked me in. She told me that it would be about an hour.
I hadn't eaten lunch yet so I walked across the parking lot to Wienerschnitzel. I scarfed down a couple of chili-cheese dogs and soaked up some of their air conditioning for about 30 minutes (the A/C was broken at America's Tire that day so I was in no hurry to get back). I then headed back to check on my truck.
They were just pulling it in as I stepped out of Wienerschnitzel. I poked my head in the bay to take a look... I'm nosey that way... and watched the tire being removed. I paced around the outside of the store for maybe 10-15 minutes and waited for them to finish. I then got a text that it was done. So, what's the verdict? The screw had not gone all of the way through. I do have the road hazard warranty on these tires so I was covered but it was nice to find out that I didn't need to deal with a patch or replacement nonetheless.
Anyway... this was just a long way of saying that I had a great experience at America's Tire in Colton. Everyone that I interacted with was more than friendly. I would definitely say the customer service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI do not believe that the employees at this american tire store have any idea how there generousity impacted my family and I. We own one vehichle my wife I and three kids, one of which is my five year old daughter. financially my wife and I could not afford to have all four tires replaced and they where in terrible shape, the two rear tires where purchased from another tire store used a month prior. my plans were to have two front tires installed on the car until we could afford to put the other two on a few weeks later. I stood outside the bay doors watching the shop technicians walking around the car inspecting the tires. one of the technicians called me over and pointed out that the two rear tires that i assumed where the best of the four where by far the worst because of the manufactures date and dry rot and that there was no tread left on the two front tires. as I was trying to decide which of the two evils would be my best option and voicing my concerns of driving the car on any of these tires the technician without hesitation stood and asked do you have any other money I stated very little he took what I had mounted all four tires all of this within 45 minutes of my arrival. one of the other technicians walked me out to my car he made this statement, "we care about our customers their families and the saftey others on the roads" He handed me my keys and said drive safetly please. I have never perchased tires from american tires in the past but after their comments and actions today they have another life long customer. I will return shortly to pay off the total balance of the tires. thank you american tire store for the...
