Came in today 1/9 around 6pm with some oil to dump and some small sport batteries to recycle. Didn't want the cores for the batteries. Long story short is they are rude and don't know even the simple things and I will never come back here. My oil wasn't in the containers they wanted or require, which is fine. It was in clear containers so you can see what's inside. Wasn't contaminated. The manager, which was a lady with a class B uniform on so I couldn't see her name tag, did not want to answer my questions as to where to recycle the oil and batteries which the first lady said they wouldnt take. In the beginning the first lady said that the manager was busy and she didn't know so I couldn't have my questions answered. Once I started telling the 1st lady that this is not good customer service, manager storms out and rudely says, "what's your questions." As someone who's actually worked for O'Reilly in the past, I know they have a high quit rate. The place is not great to work at. But all I wanted to know is where to recycle my items thay they used to take. The only worst thing she could've done is talked badly to me and thrown something at me because this was bad. Really really bad. She says they didn't want small batteries on the shelf. That is not my problem. I'm trying to recycle these items which is the right thing to do. Things you guys probably still do and she gave me the the rude treatment. Said she had paperwork to do or her boss would get upset. This is your job. A simple minute you couldn't provide. So rude. She then proceeds to tell me to take it to the police station, which I knew they didn't take the items. After calling, they don't take the items. Neither does the fire dept. Anyway, rude and waste of time, people don't know simple things related to their job. Don't go...
Read moreDon't pretend to have a warranty. I've bought parts from this chain for 15+ years, Including batteries. I've never had my battery fail before the 3 year mark.. it's always a month or two later.. so I buy a New one everytime. This time my battery actually did fail before the 3 year mark. I figured finally this warranty will come in handy. My Car was struggling to start for a month. Finally I had to jump start the car to get it going and the next time I went to start it, it wouldn't crank at all. Starter and alternator are good. I took my battery in to get "checked" and was told the battery is good but that it's just at its last 25% of it's life. The manager lady was sweet and nice and I have no issues with her because at the end of the day I know she's just reading something off of a piece of paper that she was told to read to me. But come on.. the battery warranty is obviously a complete scam. Don't opt for a "better battery" or a "better warranty". From now on I will go to Walmart and spend $110 on a battery with a 2 year warranty I probably can't use instead of a $250 battery from this chain that obviously doesn't have a good warranty policy even if the battery...
