Taqueria El Limoncito — Restaurant in Colton

It’s been two years since I’ve lived in this area and it’s been hard finding a restaurant that has an authentic taste to their food and let me tell you, my search is finally over. I came here because my mom and dad recommended it after they stopped for a quick bite after visiting my sister who was in the hospital and they even came back to back three days in a row because of how good it was. When my sisters and I went, we were treated so well that it felt comforting to just be there. The food was honestly so AMAZING! Everything had great taste that every bite was very enjoyable! I had ordered three tacos; one asada, one carnitas, and one tripas and all three were very flavorful. Then we ordered carne asada fries and the fries were crispy which was a plus! The salsas all had a different taste but all were made so good. The next time I came here was a couple days later and we tried an asada torta, and asada sopes with tacos on the side and all of it hit so damn good. I hope I’m not exaggerating but that’s how much I truly enjoy the food here! This restaurant honestly reminds me of home because it tastes like it was cooked with love and it makes me happy knowing I can drive up and order a great satisfying meal knowing it’s going to be good every damn time!

The food was well seasoned and came out hot as it should be. We had Menudo which was not your regular menudo with the red chili this one was a bit pale to what I'm used to but it had a ton of flavor that was enhanced by the condiments (limón, chili oil, onions & cilantro) they also give you homemade tortillas which were good in flavor they just break easily so I give them 8 out 10. We had Birria which had a great taste maybe a little too much oil but still delicious. The Quesabirria tacos where fantastic with plenty of meat as well as the torta with al pastor meat. We even had a hamburger & fries for the little one which she enjoyed. The only reason fir the 4 on the atmosphere is that their A C was still off at 12 pm and made the place a bit hot. Definitely...

Wowed. Needed some Mexican food after flying in from the Mexican food desert known as the east coast, and this hit the spot. Meat and sauces SMACKED, but what really stood out were the fries.
