Gentleman's Closet — Local services in Columbia

This is possibly the first google review I've ever left. This place was suggested to me by a colleague, and it would be impossible for me to be more satisfied with my experience. I had to leave town on a Thursday for a wedding. Already had a suit, but wanted to change it up a bit with a new shirt and tie. Went on Wednesday to get those items, and found a jacket that I loved as well. That night when trying everything on together, I ripped my slacks from the suit I already had. Went back in on Thursday and they were able to replace my slacks with a matching navy while having the alterations done by the end of the day in time for me to leave town as scheduled. 10/10 experience with very reasonable prices. Would give more than 5...

What an amazing place! I was planning on stopping by the Men's Wearhouse down the street, but decided to stop in here beforehand to take a look.

Well... by the time I got done here, I didn't even bother stopping by the Men's Wearhouse!

They did a great job helping me pick out a new suit, as well as getting me tailored. I loved their selection of clothing, they had the perfect mix of classic, unique, and silly. They had great ties (both traditional and bow), socks and hats, and other miscellaneous items like wallets.

I can't speak highly enough about the staff as well, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and an overall joy to work with.

All-in-all, it was an excellent experience, and I can't recommend the Gentlemen's Closet...

I was looking for a local suit shop where I could get a good suit, service and prices and I found Gentlemen's Closet. Dean and Melvin Jacobs were a big help getting me my suit and tux needed for my events as well as my friends who I brought as well. They were very personable and helpful getting all the sizing and accessories that I needed to look the best.
