Great Clips — Local services in Columbia

I came into Great Clips and I was astonished at how the stylists were treated and how I was treated. An obese black lady was making fun of a girl with glasses when I walked in. The girl honestly looked like she was miserable and was about to cry. The other stylists honestly didn't look like they were happy working under her. It seemed to me she was bullying each and every one of them. When I sat in her chair she seemed to not really listen to what I was saying and that she was more concentrated on the other stylists saying Welcome to Great Clips. I mean me as a customer loves to be greeted but at the same time I also like for the stylist to pay attention to me and my needs. She of coarse ruined my hair and was very rude when I told her I wasn't happy with it. I will never go back there not only because my hair got ruined but also because no one in there seemed happy working there. I guess I would prefer an upbeat stylist who is knowledgeable in what they are doing versus someone who is worried about what everyone else is doing...

Well, i went to have my hair cut and layerd. It had been years since i had my hair cut at all and i was very nervous about it. I went to the Westside Plaza Shopping Center and there was a girl named Ashley who was at that store temporarily. She originally works at the one at Rosewood. Im so grateful she was there and was the one who cut my hair that evening. She was very friendly, gentle, considerate, and kind to me and made me feel at ease and i appreciated that so much. The other stylists were very kind and helpful as well. I loved the cut she gave me and i would recommend Ashley to any other female bc shes great. Shes at Rosewood. Im definitely going to keep her as my stylist from now on. Everybody loved my haircut as much as i did and said she really did a wonderful job. I just wanna let people know about this girl. Shes sweet and shes a heckuva stylist!!! Ladies go see her next time you need a cut... I think u will be...

I have been going to the Rosewood location since they opened the doors here. It was convenient since I didn’t have to make an appointment. It not about it being cheaper because I always tipped. But you do have to accept getting a different stylist every time. In the past I have never did the online appointment thing but today I was almost shamed that I didn’t do it. I asked would you still cut my hair today and the stylist said this time. As I waited the stylist in the first chair to the right starting talking about me to her customer loudly enough that I asked her was she was talking about me. I think she was the supervisor as when I have been there in the past she was bossing people around. She said it inconvenient them when you did not do online. She was argumentative and rude I told her I didn’t need a haircut bad enough today and left. Well I guess I go back using the clippers that I used...
