For my sister’s birthday, I brought her to LaRoque to buy a top or dress that she really liked. In the process of looking through the racks of garments, the store owner, AnnaBelle, asked my sister if there was anything that caught her eye or if there was anything, she could help her find that may not have been on any of the racks. My sister told AnnaBelle that she really liked the dress she was wearing (it was garnet, a great color for a Gamecock football game). AnnaBelle told my sister that they were sold out of the color she was wearing. My sister had the bummer-look on her face. AnnaBelle went to the dressing room, took off her dress and gave it to my sister to try on for herself. My sister loved the dress, AnnaBelle noticed and said she can have it. AnnaBelle literally took the shirt off her back to help a consumer. I took notice of this move on her part and thought that that’s above and beyond...

Okay, not only was the review 3 years ago, but it has to be incorrect. I have been a LaRoque customer for a few years and have never had any problems what-so-ever. I have pieces in my closet from 3 years ago that still look brand new, and the quality is great. As for bridesmaids, I am not married yet, but I have several friends who have had their bridesmaids dresses made at LaRoque and none have had any problems. It is understood that if you don't have your measurements taken in the store and send them in, they have no idea if they measurements you sent are correct or not, so a perfect fit definitely isnt guaranteed.

This small business has been here for 7 years, and I would think it there were any truth in the post below, LaRoque would not have lasted 7 years.
