Just the Thing — Local services in Columbia

Great selection of classic women’s clothing and accessories with a bit of flare. But that’s where the greatness ends...the sales staff is absolutely rude and judgmental! The minute you walk in the store if you don’t “look the part” you are immediately scrutinized and disregarded. Heaven forbid you bring in kids, which my family and I did. Huge mistake! The sneering looks and little comments from the staff never made us feel comfortable. The final straw was when a sales associate walked over to our group of kids and myself who were sitting in their arm chairs minding our own business and rudely told me that if one of her customers needed to try on shoes we would have to move. There wasn’t a soul in that store asking to try on shoes. I’m an intelligent person and could understand what she was trying to do. So we left and did not purchase a single thing. I’ll never return to this store! Might not mean anything to them, but I don’t need to support a store that promotes rudeness. Plenty of other...

Great store, however the owner is absolutely rude. We are from Charleston and my wife wanted to get a few birthday presents.... Got to the store at 4:30, had a handful of purchases by 5:00 when the owner screamed to the store [full of customers] that is is 5 and that we need to leave. Most of the customers looked surprised and were appalled. The employees apologized for her ignorant and boorish behavior, but it was too late, they simply put their purchases down and...

What a great find! Warm & welcoming staff in both the apparel boutique and next door at the accessories/gift shop. Wide selection of clothing from high-end designers, great shoes, and lovely handbags. My favorite is the jewelry - really unique pieces to fit every taste and price point. Plus, there is a section to make shopping for gifts - hostess, wedding, baby, etc. --- super easy. A fun stop...
