Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Columbia

EDIT: After serious debate I decided to call. Not sure what they could do but it is my local TSC. I was slightly confused who to call since there was no name given. I sat on hold with a general customer solutions center for 16 minutes before giving up, no answer. Again no resolution. I will be getting my fence this weekend elsewhere.

We just left our local TSC very disappointed! My husband wanted a garden cart but we weren't sure if it would fit in our SUV so we asked for assistance. While we were outside we wanted to look at the fence posts and discuss cattle panels. According to the website the only available panels were in. Glasgow but I wanted to keep our business local so thought I would attempt an order. We asked the person at the front, she seemed irritated to have to call someone, while calling someone I overheard her apologizing for bothering them. Aren't you in the business of customer service? Several people came in after we requested help that were getting help while we stood there twiddling our thumbs. At one point she looked over her shoulder, mumbled something and the customer in front of her looked at her then us. I tried to flag down several associates but to no avail. I finally stood in line, the person at the next register said I can help you over here. I explained what I needed. He then just put his head down and started spinning his beard. I said if no one wants to help we can go to Glasgow. He said, "I want to help but..." there are no buts in customer service! We walked out and you lost a customer. We literally would have spent at least $200 today then another $600 on the fencing material. I do hope Glasgow...

For actual tractor parts, farm supplies, pumps and trailer equipment Tractor Supply is the best priced local store with great online ordering. Be careful of any other merchandise as the prices are on the high side compared to Lowe’ and Walmart. Some good sale items. The clearance isle is on the far back right wall, pretty sharp discounts. My favorite isle is the bolts, nuts, washers and lag screws by the pound section. Deals to be had here compared to anywhere else. The staff is way friendly and very helpful always. I took off a star because the parking lot is sometimes overrun with many loitering vehicles and folk congregating under circumstances having nothing to do with shopping at Tractor Supply. Not the stores fault for sure but it’s just weird seeing so many people standing around their vehicles parked and congregating. I felt I should lock my truck which I don’t usually feel I need to anywhere...

I usually have mediocre experiences at this TSC but wanted to leave a review after purchasing 6 chicks from them. I lost one which is to sometimes be expected with baby chicks. Something that’s not expected is when I purchase 6 females to come home with what ended up being two roosters and one of the chickens not even being the breed I purchased. It was the first time purchasing chicks from here and will be my last. I’ve never had this issue from any...
