Cook Out — Restaurant in Columbia

First things first. This is a DRIVE-THRU/WALK-UP only restaurant. There is no dining room. Better signage to that effect would stop people walking around the building through drive-thru lanes (not safe) looking for an entrance. There also are no outside patio tables/benches. Atmosphere gets a zero. Food - I would give 3-1/2 stars if I could but went with three because the french fries were disappointing (both regular crinkle and cajun (they just shook a little spice on top). Now for what would earn the 1/2 star if I could. The onion rings were good (frozen to the fryer) but still very tasty. The burger was a good burger. It was more akin to what you would cook on your own grill, thick, tasty, with good flavor and texture. The bun was very ordinary. The chicken sandwich was also very good, but again the bun is no better than your cheap buns at the grocery store. The hushpuppies were fairly ordinary as well. The star of the show... the milkshake. They have many flavors and it was thick and tasty! We paid $17 and change for the two meals (two trays with one upgrade to a shake). Would I go again? I would go to Campbellsville where I could sit in a dining room and enjoy my meal and I would not...

LOVE THAT THEY HAVE TWO LANES. USUALLY VERY FAST. WISH THEY SERVED COFFEE. SWEET TEA SEEMS WATERED DOWN. I GO HERE AT LEAST 3-4 TIMES EVERY WEEK. ONE HUGE AGGRAVATION IS THEY WILL SAY OVER INTERCOM, “CAN I TAKE YOUR ORDER” YOU TELL THEM AND THEY GET YOUR ENTREE BUT 10 TIMES OUT OF 10 THEY WILL SAY IM SORRY WHAT SIDES DO YOU WANT AND DRINK AND I ALWAYS HAVE TO REPEAT MYSELF. I BELIEVE THEY MULTITASK THERES A REASON THEY TOLD ME AND I FORGOT PRECISELY BUT IT HAS TO DO W MULTITASKING AND ITS SUPER DUPER ANNOYING. FOOD IS ALWAYS GOOD. TEEN DAUGHTER ALWAYS WANTS COOKOUT. I SPEND $18-$24 EACH VISIT 85% OF THE TIME. DEDUCTED ONE STAR BECAUSE APPROX 15% OF THE TIME I GET HOME AND MY ORDER IS INCORRECT AND THERE IS NO LOCAL PHONE NUMBER TO CALL THEM ITS A CORPORATE NUMBER AND YOU CANNOT REACH A LIVE PERSON. The new guy named Fernando is really really good at everything he does but grant on the other hand does not do anything at all, Sammy you need to have a talk with grant and tell him how bad he is doing. On the other hand you need to raise Fernando’s hourly pay by $4 and take $3 away from grant. Fernando does such a good job at everything he does he tries his best to make very burger, shake, fry’s, or anything he does look the absolute best. Grant just slobs around and be lazy while Fernando runs to all of his tasks and grant just walks like a lazy slob. Today he got beat by even 60 - 7 in football from a kid that can only watch yt kids.
