Worst experience! Thursday evening, around 8 o’clock, got seated right away, placed our orders. Received drinks quickly. Ok, NEVER got the cheese dip we ordered to go with the chips and salsa. Husband got his food Ok, when he was about half finished eating I got my salad, which I had asked for lettuce and croutons with French dressing only, it came with cucumbers, 2 types of onions, peppers and buttermilk dressing. My son got his dinner at the same time. A few minutes later I got the fries that went with my dinner. 5 minutes later after husband and son were done eating so got my ordered medium rare steak but it was well done. I ate alone as they were finished. Never did get French dressing. Once we got our main food could not get anything else correctly. Did not do any good to try and get it straightened out. We tried. OK to top it off, this place sells alcohol, a very young girl, my guess around 7 or 8 years old checked us out. This is around 9 at night! The food was OK to bad, the service was so horrible. When we left all we could do was laugh because it was all so bad. Over $40 for probably the worst dinner of our life. I told my husband Thank You for taking me out to dinner, and the saying it’s the though that counts certainly fit...
Read moreFiesta Mexico in Columbia has the distinction of being one of the oldest Mexican restaurants in the county and area. It features standard Mexican fare somewhat adapted for American palates. Service is usually quick. Waiters and waitresses are always highly efficient and personable. Dining room and bar areas are generally kept clean. The restrooms leave a lot to be desired. Fixtures are old and room is hot and humid in the summer and early fall. Overall, the dining experience is positive. You'll find the usual Mexican cuisine classics prepared competently. Quality is very consistent and portions are generous. Chicken chimichangas are a favorite of mine, as are the tamales. The salsa is rather plain, but I am told that it is purposely made that way because of the wide variety of likes and dislikes of customers. I find it is best to Jazz it up with a side order of pico de gallo. Fiesta Mexico also does a good job of handling large groups. In conclusion, the overall dining experience is certainly above average. Prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend it as a dining option...
Read moreI stopped for dinner and the food was good and so was the service. After paying my bill I stopped at one of those claw machines where for $1.00 you get 2 tries to possibly win a small prize. I put my money in and after the first try I knew the machine was rigged since the claw would not close until it was 3 to 5 inches above everything. I asked the young man, Mario to come over and to make a point I put another dollar in the machine and showed him the problem. His name is Mario and he proceeded to stand there and try to tell me that is the way these machines operate. I cleared that point and asked him to unplug the machine until it could be adjusted. He would not and the owner wasn’t there. This place gets a cut and to knowingly CHEAT your customers is just plain BAD BUSINESS! So I won’t come back to a place that does this! It makes me wonder about the other areas that I cannot see.
Mario you should be ASHAMED! What happen to the...
