First off, I want to say that I’ve worked in fast food and I know how hard it can be, especially when you get a rush. If the issue would have been fixed, regardless of the wait time, I wouldn’t be here making a review. I’ve been to this store many times and have never had an issue but this time was different.
We waited in line forever, waited at the window forever, and then were pulled up and had to wait longer. In total, we waited 40-45 minutes on a chocolate peanut butter milkshake and a caramel moo latte. Most of that time was spent in the drive thru line. At the window, we had to reorder our drinks because they had deleted our original order. We were asked 3 different times what we had. Then we were asked if we had paid after we had paid. Then we were pulled up for the moo latte because the machine had to freeze. They could have told us that before we paid… but it was fine. When the CARAMEL moo latte was finally brought out, it had a bunch of chocolate at the bottom and brown specks floating throughout the rest of it. A caramel moo latte is supposed to have the slushy ice, coffee concentrate, caramel, and soft serve. I took the chocolate moo latte back in and was told the chocolate was the coco powder they put in it. After talking with the employee for a bit, he finally offered to remake it without the coco powder. It still wasn’t made right the second time. It is slushy ice, soft serve, and caramel. NO coffee. I just took it and left because this wasn’t going to be corrected and I was just going to get irritated and still not have a proper caramel moo latte.
Dairy Queen, you really need to train your staff on how to make a moo latte. The picture is the second moo latte, I didn’t get a picture of the first. It should be a caramel brown color but it is as white as the lettering on the cup because it’s only soft serve with a little bit of caramel. This is not what I ordered or paid for. I won’t be back until the staff has time to be...
Read moreBeen here numerous times with rarely any issues. However, yesterday my wife and I ate there with our toddler son. Bill came out just shy of 37 bucks.
First: We order our food and sit down and my sons ice cream was the first thing they bring us. The 10 or so people who came in after us got their food before us. Groups of 4 to 6 people. After 20 or so minutes of waiting, I go to the counter and ask what's going on with our order and the gentleman there doesn't say anything but takes the ticket from us to check. I assume our order was lost.
Secondly: After taking our ticket to get our order restarted, they bring out completely wrong items. My wife ordered 6 strips with fries, gravy and cheese. They sent out 4 strips with fries and ice cold, rock hard cheese and no gravy. Fries were soggy and cold. She also had to go at the end to get her blizzard she got, which was also forgotten about.
My sons was ok. A bit cold but it was fine for him. However, his ice cream he got 30 minutes prior to his food was melted and gone.
I ordered a triple burger with only cheese and fries. They sent out two single burgers with mustard, ketchup and pickles. After I take it back up there and tell the sweet lady at the counter (hope she's ok, the staff she had supporting her was terrible and she was visibly upset) she told them and they remade my food. However, when it got back to the table, it was indeed a triple burger but it was covered in ranch. I ended up throwing my food away and half my wife's.
Waiting on a contact from the franchise owner to rectify the situation. Generally this place is wonderful and tasty. I don't complain much unless it is well deserved, but will update after more information...
Read moreI've been to many dairy queens in Kentucky Florida Georgia the Carolinas and this is the only one that has ever refused to sell me a chicken strip basket before breakfast hours are over and lunch started. You sell chicken biscuits made with chicken strips you sell gravy for biscuits and gravy and you sell Texas toast with breakfast platters. The only thing you don't have premade or precooked is fries. Which I prefer the hash brown when I order the chicken strips basket for breakfast so you wouldn't have to drop fries which it takes 3 mins to deepfry and I would have waited for if that's what i wanted. But when I was asking the person in drive thru for the chicken basket they cut me off before I could even say that I wanted hash brown in place of fries and will pay for any up charges he said you are still serving breakfast and I couldn't order the basket. I said again that I would like the chicken strips basket and in place of he said you couldn't sell the basket is there something else I could get you. No there's not what I want you keep cutting me off before I finish but I appreciate you listening. I get every dairy queen may not have the same menu or breakfast and lunch hours but it's ridiculous when the food i wanted is already apart of the breakfast menu and I was unable to finish giving my order twice. Customer satisfaction was not given and the drive thru person was very rude for...
