Never had a bad shopping experience at Aldi. For anyone who doesn't know about Aldi some tips that might help your experience Bring a quarter to borrow a cart , which you get back upon returning the cart to the cart return. Either bring your own bags, buy them there or grab boxes while shopping for your goods to be put in after checkout. There's not much choice brand wise here, but for me that is what makes me prefer Aldi for a lot of my needs. Not everything here is cheaper than other stores, but a lot is. You just have to know price points for common items. They have a guarantee on their products. And it's easy to return something not up to par, much easier than places like Kroger. Their seasonal area has some awesome products! It's so awesome there are Aldi Facebook groups ! The meat section has came a very long way from what I remember back in like the early 90s . I only recently started purchasing meat from Aldi maybe 10 years ago , so for anyone who recalls the horrible meats from back in the day, it's now all very good. My only complaint on this location.... Watch out for ppl in the parking lot driving. I don't know of it's blind spots or what but people in this area will quickly run you over or back out on you without a care. So be vigilant while...
Read moreSince the pandemic began, they have adjusted. Arrows on the floors & aisles to remind people of the flow. Limiting number in the store and of course the social distance markings on the floor. They are protecting their workers & their customers. Love their prices. I will say that since the store has remodeled & the new store on RH Rd. has opened, the quality of fruit has improved. In the past I would find myself throwing away more strawberries than I would eat after a day. This year, I think I have eaten my weight in strawberries!😁 They are convenient to run in to just grab a gallon of milk or to do your entire weekly shopping. They're have more name brand items for those shoppers who just can't tear themselves away from them. I would give them 5 🌟 if they didn't consistently run out of items that they advertise in their flyer. Maybe each store only gets say 5 of each thing(similar to black Friday sales). They should advertise as such. Grocery items, other than at height of pandemic, are always well stocked. Store is...
Read moreAldi is an excellent discount grocery store. It's owned by the same parent company as Trader Joe's and the quality of the store brand foods is similar. Produce from here doesn't last as long once you bring it home, but it's so much cheaper that it makes a lot of sense to get it here anyway. The stores are also smaller, so its easier to get in and get out, much more so than with bigger stores like Walmart, Kroger, or Giant Eagle. I also like that despite it being small and discount, it still has a lot of organic options and that most of the store brand foods don't have any artificial colors (including their popsicles and macaroni and cheese). I also like the way that the workers are treated; the cashiers sit on stools while checking you out). Not all of them are like this, but this one has only double carts, so I can take my twins here and both can ride in the cart; I never have to go hunting for one of those special carts like I...
