I live right across from this place and I like to stop by on my way home from work when I'm too tired to cook and want a healthy dinner. Usually I get there around 9:15. This used to never be a problem with the old staff, but now that there are different employees my experience here has plummeted. This location closes at 10, so I didn't think coming in 45 minutes before close would be a big deal. The last three or four times I have come in have been all the same: I come in, the two employees in the front are talking while they are cleaning. They look at me (usually with an attitude) and then continue talking. One of them eventually comes to serve me, but does it as if I am a huge inconvenience (dragging their feet, rolling their eyes, etc.) No greeting, no "hi what can I get you", they generally just glare at me and wait for me to say my order. I put in my order (which is a veggie 6 inch, nothing complicated at all) and I check out. There is never a "have a good night" or anything. I always thank them and then never respond, they just go back to the conversation they were having. I work in the food industry so I understand wanting to close on time but 45 minutes before close??? This behavior has been very disappointing and made me feel very uncomfortable. I come here all the time but I am considering going to the one on Norton road in the future. Hopefully I get a little more...
Read moreIn the past, I’ve patronized the Subway store on W Broad St several times. The store is clean, the employees are polite and I was always satisfied with my sandwich. Tonight, however, I can’t even walk in and get a sub made. The employee half-asleep at the counter told me they're only taking online orders, so if i wanted to download the app or order online they could make it. I said that was bizzare, I’m standing right there in the store and he can’t just make my sandwich right in front of me? Who made this crazy rule for this store? No other Subway I know does this. I’ll bet they don’t make much money with this particular store policy, it would totally explain the sleepy employees. I’ll bet they pay more in labor than profit. There were 2 employees in a completely empty store! I hope other people read this before they waste their time stopping into...
Read moreThe options offered shows subway has stepped up their game. However, if I'm spending $11.19, I expect my order to be absolutely correct when o order on the app! I ordered the chicken bacon ranch no bready bowl. It's supposed to be Rotisserie chicken. I was given fried chunks and what looked like the inside part of the fried chicken pulled into tiny pieces. I order peppercorn ranch. It looks like it's regular ranch with a TON of pepper put on top. Choosing healthy options is important in my life as a diabetic. I expect my meal to be prepared correctly. Otherwise, I am going to choose other healthy options at a restaurant than can get my order right. This is the second time they have messed up our order...
