Unbelievable is all I have to say. Was in with multiple children for over an hour trying on clothes. As my kids were trying on their clothes I was waiting outside the fitting room handing them more as needed to try on. In the meantime my 2 year old who came out of the changing room shirtless( I immediately grabbed her shirt and was putting it right side out )when a rude and that's putting it nicely employee told me kids must have shirts on at all times. Did she not see me standing their getting it right side out? Was she so mad at the world she really had to confront me of this. So after about 30 min kids came out with a entire cart full of clothes easily $100 worth of stuff one of the tags fell off a pair of pants that my daughter really wanted so I held onto it and took it up with us to the register. Immediately told cashier hey the tag fell off while she was trying them on( granite the tags are barely put on to begin with). She looks at the pants and says nope can't sell them because she thinks I'm lying about the tag. Are u kidding me! Literally everything their is donated. I have over 100 worth of clothes in my cart and u think I'm lying about a $3.00 price tag get out of here! So I literally put the entire cart full of stuff onto the counter and walked away even though my kids were in tears because they really wanted the items but I will never give my business to this thrift store. Especially when everything is donated. Absolutely horrible customer service. I'm still in shock missed out in $100 in sales because of 1 pair of pants u think im lying about the sticker price just wow! Clearly customer service not the...
Read moreI love this store on West Broad! I have found what I needed 99% of the time, from unique things to clothing and home items. The new manager is really friendly and a people person. I met her while she was working the register (I love managers that are out helping the staff and clients instead of hiding in the back or at some office). Willie that works helping people with big/heavy items has the biggest heart I've seen in a retail store. No matter how busy he is (during the 50% off sale that man is running and sweating like crazy) he always has a big smile on his face and makes sure he helps everybody before taking a single break. He treats people with care giving each customer the special attention they deserve. Willie takes such pride on his work that once I was getting a small table by myself and when he saw me, since he was free, he came running to help me and told me to let him do his job lol. He took the table all the way to the register with his high spirits and kindness. And knowing that shopping here also helps people in need is definitely the icing on the cake. The perfect place for retail therapy because even if I'm buying something I might not even "need" the price is good and I'm helping a charity. I have shopped and donated items here for over 20 years and my husband says that I rarely just drop stuff off, it's more like an exchange lol I know prices have gone up since I started going there but hey, that's called inflation... same thing happened at the supermarket, gas station, etc... Thank you guys for being there and for the work...
Read moreI went to this store on the hunt for a mystery jewelry jar. They often have them here, but sell out quick. Each jewelry jar is priced for $20 and typically jewelry jars contain assorted jewelry pieces. This trend is very popular on TikTok right now, and it’s not easy finding these jars at local thrift stores. I was excited to get my hands on one. $20 was a little much for a medium sized jar. But hey, if it’s full of some good pieces, cant complain right? Except no… it was a joke. You could even consider it a scam. The jar was full of literal junk. I mean it literally had a used glow stick bracelet in the jar. Literal trash! A few earrings but not a single match for any of them. This jar had a couple cheap necklaces and the rest was actual trash pieces. I was so shocked, and honestly disappointed. Who puts a used glow stick bracelet for resale? Mystery jewelry jars are meant to have fun surprises in them, with matching pieces. It had a surprise, but not the kind I was looking for. $20 for some junk trash pieces, and a used glow stick! Don’t buy your jars here lol.
However, I do find decent stuff around thr rest of the store sooo (which is why I was even more so...
