Asian Supermarket - Columbus GA — Local services in Columbus

This is a huge Asian store and if you're looking for Asian items, this is it. I think I came on a good day because the aisles looked pretty well stocked, so I may come in Mondays from now on! I was happy to find the Melon Pan and some Japanese cheesecake in the refrigerated/frozen aisles. Also, they did have the Kirin Milk Tea at one time, but it didn't look good. I love Japanese items, so that's pretty much what I get if I come here. The downside to the store is there aren't many Japanese items, but they do have some! I couldn't find any Japanese pickles, except for a few times where I did see them. And I haven't seen the Irohas Japanese Peach water that my mom loves. I don't know if they stopped selling it...They also have S&B Curry pouches, which are really good, especially the Hot kind, and the Vermont Curry boxes! If you want the best ramen you ever had, get the Myojo Garlic and Miso ramen in the refrigerated/frozen aisles. Their Shoyu ramen is really good too, but I don't think they have that kind here. EDIT; Management has reached out to me and was extremely apologetic and were extremely nice. They offered me a gift card for the inconvenience and I do see myself shopping here in a couple months when the kinks are fixed. Them commenting on this review and I reached out to them on Facebook and they were 100% on top of customer satisfaction.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!!!!! They charged us 150$ for 4 Japanese peppers because they rang in at 1000$ per pound. Then when we went to make the return because we were upset that it happened they didn’t return the tax they kept claiming no places even like Walmart and target return the taxes on items !

Over 454$ spent there and 40$ in taxes were missing out on. The lady was extremely rude and wouldn’t go and grab someone higher up to get this problem resolved.

Me and my husband come in here quite often and I normally love shopping here and the customer service but yesterday I came in and someone checked me out that I haven’t seen before and she gave me a horrible attitude for some reason and treated me like garbage. I smiled at her and greeted her when I walked over and started putting items on the belt and she didn’t say anything back and when I turned around she was literally rolling her eyes at me and when I was finished paying i thanked her and she gave me a nasty look and then started talking to her coworker about something unrelated as if I wasn’t even there. I’m not sure what’s up with her behavior but I’ve never had worse customer service in my life and normally I would NEVER say anything as someone who’s been in that industry for years but this was just...
